This is the closing track from my 2007 EP "Oasis Call". The recording is rough since the entire album was recorded in a few short days (limited college funds using borrowed equipment, hell yeah!) but I would love to revisit this song to record again. Despite the sound quality, I'm still proud of the composition of this track and, as an added nerdy bonus, it was partially inspired by the anime RahXephon. I couldn't figure out how to put this tumultuous year into words so I decided to pick up each instrument, hit record, and just "play" how I feel. In dark times, it helps to think of the small and simple things that bring you peace and remember that you are not alone. Keep your heads up, stay strong, and always move forward.
