This is the first compilation of Twigs & Water hosting Stanislav Tolkachev,  Void Cells, Danilenko and Lebed. The description of this release contains only one word - melancholy. This compilation is like transit and fixation of this phenomenon using sound waves. Wherever the realisation of our existence takes place, it will be with us forever and anywhere,  as the artists themselves; It doesn't matter whether you're in Bristol, Kyiv or Pinsk; This is the first but by no means the last release of a record from the label. Its central concept is the release of time-tested artists, as well as new ones. Even though the first record is filled with analogue techno, releases in different genres are planned. The very name of the label contains echoes of what will be released in the future.


We premiere the track 'Misuse' by  Void Cells. Broken beats with modular synths like a space rain create a unique sci-fi aura with persistent and dynamic drums developing across an ominous synth pad.

Synthium, the latest EP from HelenA MArkos, the creative force behind the imprint/blog Tales of Psychofonia, marks a significant milestone in her musical journey. Following a series of releases across notable labels like SOIL and FERMA, HelenA presents her newest artistic endeavour through Tales of Psychofonia. In this captivating six-track EP, she showcases her intricate experimentation with sounds, textures, and vocals, culminating in a special auditory experience.

Today we bring you a mix by Theodora Marinova aka TEDKA, a DJ from Bulgaria, living in London.Theodora developed an interest in electronic music, the rave culture and parties from a very early age. Growing up in the hardcore East, where this culture is not so popular, she tried to get a taste of it in every way possible.
Later on, TEDKA had the chance to experience one of the crucial scenes for electronic music in Europe – the Berlin scene and was so inspired that she ended up researching techno and the electronic music industry in her Master studies in London as well. Apart from techno, her musical interests are spread over the entire spectrum of music from Prince to Aphex Twin and everything else in between.
Soundwise, TEDKA's aesthetics have developed as a result of her love for techno. TEDKA doesn't like the strict division and categorisation of electronic music into genres and enjoys exploring different musical concepts. In the last year, her curiosity and creativity have been largely inspired by electro and body music, as much as by techno.
In the last couple of months, TEDKA has also participated in the Bulgarian Stamina parties, where she had the chance to play alongside  Perc and 99999999.  You can catch her playing next at Balkan Station Episode 2, scheduled to take place in early September.

TEDKA provides us with an hour of driving EBM fire, with techno elements, a right teaser for the nights to come...
