Josh Teed is a versatile, classically trained, and technical musician. He picked up the violin at the tender age of 3 years old, going on to win the Florida Fiddle Championship at 9. Upon discovering electronic music, he began exploring his talents further and intertwining them with his newfound interest. His productions pay tribute to some of his electronic influences such as Charlesthefirst, CloZee and Govinda while still remaining unique and properly showcasing his vast expertise in instrumentalism. His live sets incorporate violin, didgeridoo, and live analog synthesis overlaid on top of every element of a great DJ set, keeping listeners engaged and entranced for every second he has the stage. In June of 2020 Josh launched the Taiga Collective, a nonprofit label centered around melodic and world bass music. Taiga Collective provides an avenue for talented, like minded musicians to release their music with all profits going to wildlife conservation. Although a lot has changed, Josh still keeps the same vision he started out with. Josh Teed aims to push the envelope and break the seams between bass music and live instrumentation, blending the two effortlessly to take listeners on a tangible, palpable journey through an eclectic variety of soundscapes and grooves. His EP The Journey East is an intricate look into his experimental collaborations between a multitude of other producers including MORiLLO, Bastion and more.

Wild, out May 27th on Gravitas Recordings, is a journey through bass and urban beats that showcases Lil Fish’s vibrant sound. Lil Fish has had support from massive producers ever since his first LP in 2016 featuring artists such as Al’Tarba, CloZinger, Arure, Screenatorium and many more. His sound captures a blend of Trip-Hop, and Bass music to create a unique blend of sound.  With recent releases making waves on Gravitas Recordings, this new EP ties these all together to highlight the style of Lil Fish and what the future holds.

“A Misty Morning” kicks off the EP by creating a beautiful yet mystifying atmosphere, all building into hard hitting urban beats setting the tone for the musical journey to come. “Arawana” keeps this energy high with its rhythm and distant vocals and synths bringing tension for something big, dropping hard hitting bass and and diving full force into a blend of Trip-Hop and Dub. “Watcha” starts strong, building the hard bass lines into a tasteful Dubstep drop while still maintaining its roots in the original urban beats that began the EP.  “Soldiers Of Shadows” take us on this journey further into something even heavier and darker with a very tasteful blend of Dub. “Breathe” takes this high energy and transforms it into something beautiful, truly making the listener sit back and breathe after a hard hitting track and enjoy the soundscape Lil Fish creates. “Wild” closes this journey perfectly with the title track, combining the heavy hitting elements teased along the way with the beautiful atmosphere he created, an amazing blend that shows off both sides of Lil Fish to close this EP.

Distilled, out July 15th on Gravitas Recordings, is a beautiful melodic track blending two amazing artists Edamame and Northern Form and their unique sound.  These artists have been making similar styles for some time now, with paths crossing multiple times through Loci Records and mutual fans.  Finally teaming up, these two created a serene track that anyone can enjoy.  This is just a sample of what will come when these two get in the studio again!

“This single is us merging our unique drum beats and lush layers/melodies together to create something floaty and beautiful. We both have this approach to music where the way we organize our drums and weave together elements creates an auditory experience that ungrounds people. Our stuff is just organized usually to help people float away -- not grasp on to any familiar drum beat. Hope you enjoy.”

“Distilled” begins with floaty strings and melodic vocal chops, creating a meditative soundscape captivating the listener.  It slowly brings in bass and crisp drums and builds tension without overpowering the original sounds and idea, further curating this relaxing state the listener is enveloped by.  Soothing string instruments and other melodies enter the song and it unwinds as smoothly as the tension was built, truly a track that can be left on repeat for hours.

Dillard brings a surreal LP to Gravitas Recordings April 14th 2023.  Full of organic textures, trippy sound design and a calming but upbeat feel, this release speaks for itself and brings out something special for anyone.  Dillon always puts so much effort into his releases and the listener’s journey, this time speeding up the tempo and diving into new territory in a flawless way.  With massive support on all his recent releases, he has gained a strong following of listeners patiently awaiting his next masterpiece.  Each release has so much intention and breaks barriers in the electronic and bass music community.  Dillard stated “It was a very cathartic experience being able to pour so much experience & emotion into this album, but then again I try to put just as much effort into all of my releases :)”

Cubic Nest opens up with beautiful strings and an organic soundscape that continues over heavy bass for a perfect downtempo start to this journey.  Botany Agent continues this sound with added ethereal vocals and a driving kick and drum pattern to build the energy, creating an epic build that teases something big coming and perfectly setting up the title track.  Garden Mother takes this energy and quickly drops into a catchy beat that is impossible not to move to with perfect guitar plucks and foley, this track is captivating and continues to build into a heavier second drop with added bass and scratching.  Way She Goes brings the energy back down with an epic intro of beautiful strings and Dillard’s signature sound, with a more glitchy feel that is somehow heavy and light at the same time.  Blue Flame dives into the calming side of the LP and continues the downtempo journey from the previous tracks, with flawless sound design and an enchanting soundscape.  Far Focus continues more glitchy organic sounds while creating more energy and tension with perfect breaks in the drums, he uses quick silent moments to peak the listener’s ear and give an upbeat feel to a trippy and laid back track.  Flight Plan opens with trippy old school samples of an LSD research experience, and builds into the heaviest drop of the release.  The track before perfectly sets up this and feels like the peak of the LP, while still maintaining the overall style and showcasing a heavier side of his bass sound design.  Technicolor further elaborates on this style with nostalgic vocal samples and a heavy but light drop that is more stripped back to focus on the groove, creating a perfect closing to this journey through Dillard’s sound.

By creating a compilation of work that infuses ancient cultures with ones in modern day, Savej preserves a worldly resonant vibe to prompt journeys of the mind.

“Solstice” spotlights Savej’s practice of the Kargyraa style of throat singing, a skill that demanded weeks of training to achieve proper vocal cord disengagement. As the Native American flute and Peruvian whistles search for “One Truth,” percussive rhythms support the binding of matter and spirit into one energy. “Eye For An I” employs entrancing trap soundscapes with an organic tribal flair. Nature comes to life in “Sirens,” as creatures who roam the jungle are dazzled by hypnotic bass tapestries. When the Sun’s path crosses the celestial equator, “Equinox” escorts wanderers towards a groovy celebratory dreamscape. Concluding the paradisiacal globe-trot, “Vilca” pays tribute to the sacred psychedelic ritual, offering one last dance in the shamanic wonderland.

Alam Khan and Eligh navigate through the mind, body, and soul with their latest Grand Tapestry album, Tides. Released on Gravitas Recordings, Tides reflects the tides of change that the human race, planet, and cosmos are presently experiencing via six original works and three bonus instrumentals. Through further exploration of traditional Indian instruments, Grand Tapestry weaves a distinctive sound that synthesizes cutting edge hip-hop aesthetics into sacred, conscious beats.
 
Featuring Raaginder on the violin and Kamaljeet Ahluwalia on the santoor, “Seagulls” encircle the beach shore while mankind studies the notion of time and its influence on love. Pensive soundscapes and contemplative rap greet the approaching “Tides” as a guitar, sarod, and cello engage in a powerful, soul-stirring takeover. “Believe” acknowledges the depths of emotions that exist through lively beats and passionate lyricism. In 2013, Chloe Herry entered Mr. Bill's Cheyah remix competition, which was hosted via Gravitas Recordings. After earning second place, label founder Jesse Brede knew he discovered someone special. Constantly inspired by her music, Gravitas had the honor of releasing multiple projects with CloZee, notably Revolution, Harmony, and Evasion. Through the years, she has risen to one of Gravitas's top artists. Now two albums, multiple EPs, and countless singles later, CloZee has emerged as an electronic music phenomenon and pioneer of the world bass genre.
 
As CloZee begins an unprecedented venture with her new Odyzey Records imprint, she is returning to Gravitas to help raise up the next generation of new artists. In collaboration with Gravitas Recordings, CloZee has curated her first ever compilation. Titled Emergence, the compilation champions emerging and established artists in the bass realm, weaving them together in one unified tracklist of 15 songs. In a time of great division and strife, Emergence symbolizes the beauty of collective through hopeful music.
