Excess is a Georgian rap group, which was founded in Tbilisi in 1999.  The group consisted of three members.

The group Excess was created in November 1991, in Tbilisi.  The band's debut song was Shabash Night.  After recording the first song, producer Misha Chkhaidze started working with the group.  The group held its first concert in Rustavi.  They made their debut in Tbilisi at the Griboyedov Theater on December 19, 1999.  By this time, the group already had its established image - Black cloaks.  After that, the first duet with the group Dog Street (Apocalypse) was recorded.

"7 days and 7 nights"

 In 2000, the group had already completed work on their first album, but problems with the police temporarily delayed the release of the album.  In October 2000, the first album was released and the band released their first music video, "Judging Day".


"Graves"

 In September 2000, the group started working on the second album, and in August 2001, it was already completed and presented to the public.  The name of the album was supposed to be "The Age of Money", but it was decided that the album would be called "Graves".  One of the compositions included in the album, "Graves", is a two-part song written in an abandoned cemetery at three o'clock in the morning.


- Career and success

 The first song of Excess, "Shabashi Night" was included in the collection of "Taoba 2000" and caused a great stir.  Several radio stations accused the group of Satanism and categorically refused to play the group's songs on their airwaves.  This did not hinder the group's career progress.  The first video clip of Excess - "Judgment Day" was shown on various TV channels.  It was also successfully shown at the Student Film Festival and Batumi International Youth Film Festival.  The clip was not shown at the Tbilisi International Youth Film Festival.  The reason was again the groundless accusation of propaganda of Satanism to excess.

The composition "Ghosts of the Past" was used as a musical score in the film "Georgian Weapons" (director: Nino Chichua), for which it won first place at the Tbilisi Film Festival.

However, in 2002, the group did not receive an award in the "Debut" Tbilisi Film Festival, despite winning the first place in the "Best Musical Arrangement" nomination.  The fact is that no one informed the group about this, and the director himself took the award.  However, the matter did not end like that, the story reached the ears of the Ministry of Culture and it was decided that the jury would meet again and officially give the group its rightful award.

Psycho Realm fue formado al principio de los 90’s por los hermanos Sick Jacken (Jack Gonzalez) y Big Duke (Gustavo Gonzalez) del area de Pico-Union en el centro de Los Angeles. Ellos conocieron a B-Real (Louis Freeze)(de Cypress Hill) en 1993 después de que B-Real los viera en una en una presentación en al calle Olvera en el Centro de los angeles, el los contacto después del espectáculo, y se unió al grupo unos años más tarde. Su música tiene más de un sonido tipo político espiritual con experiencias de vida de la calle.
