After 4 years of rave parties in Lyon, the Spiral Dance crew just gave birth to the Sous Traitance label.

Throughout its first compilation – a strong selection of up-and-coming producers –, the collective gathered 30 minutes of fiery and experimental breakbeat, considerably influenced by the ‘90s wild energy.

Yet, the 6-track Various goes beyond showcasing an obvious inheritance from the UK early-rave era, perfectly embodied by Antoine 80 and Shcuro contributions. The 12” vinyl also blends genres from the past 3 decades - in the true spirit of the current French underground djing style -, as Jonnnah and Penelope’s Fiance both from the contemporary drum n bass scene codes, while DJ 8.6 drops a mid-2010s industrial downtempo burner, and Yolek even sounds to be inspired by the nasty, raw atmospheres of 2000s hip-hop.

just claudia has an ever-evolving ‘all things bass’ approach to DJing, bringing up the tempo and jumping back and forth DnB, rap, halftime and spiced-up techno. She was part of shift of the Czech electronic music scene back in 2019. Resident and assistant to programming Prague’s Ankali club, one of her most outstanding contributions is her supervision of Deviant, a club night and podcast series focusing on nonconformist sounds, and the development and exploration of DJing as an art form. The initiative brought to the city artists of the likes of Identified Patient, MSJY, Zohar or Simo Cell. Most recently, after her moving to Barcelona, she co-founded the community radio Canino FM. Complementary to the club, she currently holds a beatless residency in LYL radio.

Diario Sogno is the first LP from Francesco Giovanetti, aka Jaf Ge Nos.
The album has been written between Seoul and Berlin, during and after pandemic time.
Like the name suggests, "Diario Sogno" (dream diary), dreams started to write a diary by themselves in these contrasting cities.
Like a translator, I translated it into music.
The artwork is from the artist Bettina Hajanti: she represented a memory of the dream diary.

Fukstep is a movement linked to the sound system culture crossovers and all the hybridizations that new school has created. With an irreverent and inclusive approach to music and parties, it proposes projects that explore crossover and generative underground. 
Fukstep is a community, a label, a party, a curatorship and a message. It is the desire to create a new ecosystem within itinerant parties, proposing a model of a safer, more inclusive and accessible environment for everyone, which sees the sound mainly curated by queer artists and engineers, to convey a real model of participation.
