The course of our daily lives and actions are guided by rituals that may eventually become routine and then reemerge in a new environment. Or do they? The dynamics of performance evoke and question this life-like cyclical or linear and oblivious timeline. 
Is it possible to be reborn without the vague survival of our experiences? Is there something permanent that we all take with us or can we come back with a tabula rasa? 

“Revivals of Toteu" is an experimental improvisation that through field recordings, constantly morphing drones and semi-objective - semi-subjective understanding of the world, investigates the paths and means of renewal. It is a home session made with electronic devices such as an old portable tv, elektrouši, sampler and synths.

Two travelers have stopped in their tracks for a quick concert at MAGMA, so that we can journey together through their soundscapes. Emcsi and Bence Kovács-Vajda, students of the Pécs Electronic Music and Media Art course, work with recorded and synthesized sounds to create rolling sound-areas, almost tactile textures and experiential sounds, spiced up with noises.
