A sure-fire club hit from the mind behind ‘Beg’ whose previous releases have all seen such significant success that they have earned the Liverpudlian a reputation that is second to none. ‘I See’ is a powerfully emotive cut built around Charli Taft’s beautifully melancholic voice which this talented producer coalesces with warm melodic synths and a creative usage of brass samples accomplishing a delightfully enchanting outcome. Shadow Child provides his own unique spin to the track by fashioning Taft’s vocals around the signature Dirtybird inimitability, in this case an orchestral build up into a thudding lo-fi bassy hook accompanied by his distinctively energetic usage of hats and snare. On the other hand the rendition by The Crooked Man layers various sounds into a complicated brew of wonky and dark elements that exhibits the imaginative creativity of such an experienced and longstanding producer. Following his last release "Rising Up EP", which copped support from the likes of Justin Martin, Crookers, Russ Chimes and Todd Edwards to name a small few, our man in Bristol REKTCHORDZ has been very hard at work remixing for PET SHOP BOYS and RICHARD VISSION to overwhelming response, meanwhile also teaming up with Australia's SEAN DECLASE who laid down a perfect soulful vocal for the brand new collaboration single "Higher". 

Both bringing their own individual flavors permeating through this bassy, groove-laden house cut, Sean's vocals are resonant against the rougher-edged style of Rektchordz's production and the meeting of the two is truly magical. 

Coming through with the goods on this package featuring remixes from PANDA, STRETCH MONROE, CHRIS GRESSWELL, JAM XPRESS and HYBRID THEORY all covering the house/garage stratosphere.

Altus Project is happy to announce a new EP from label bosses Thee Cool Cats & Lee M Kelsall.

Between them this collaborative outfit have had big hits on labels like Toolroom, Hot Waves and CUFF, but now go it alone with their own great new imprint, which is sure to offer up many hard hitting tracks going forward. 

Up first is Thee Corner. Featuring a classic vocal sample from a fine pop hit, the beats all around it make for deep and groovy listening. The bassline is rich and fat and rolls uninterrupted and this one is sure to be massive this summer. 

The remix comes from London’s own Vanilla Ace & Chad Tyson and is an even deeper house roller with natty bass stabs, slick percussion and a carefully treated vocal. With plenty of bounce in its bones and drive in its chords, this EP is sure to win the crew many more fans as they head off for a busy summer of gigs and label showcases.
