While working on these tracks, I pushed my studio setup to its full extent, with most of my hardware finding its way into the music in one form or another. ALT RECORDS is an underground techno label from Brooklyn, USA by Matt Altman. Launched in 2020, it has served as a main vessel for his own music, but has also featured artists like Pleasures, Cassulle, Tav Shvi, and Karpisnki.

Label boss, Matt Altman, is an award-winning DJ and producer who in 2015, won the EDC New York's Discovery Project and is also an alumni of Berklee College of Music. His stunning productions have also landed on renowned imprints such as Robert Hoff's trau-ma, Lindsey Herbert's EvilGroove, E-HRZN, Diffuse Reality, and more.

For this DT:Premiere we selected "yRkTy" with a raw, tribal sound. The infectious, bouncing percussion contrasts with screeching, atmospheric sweeps and a catchy vocal snippet for a twisted trip of pulsative energy and dance floor fuel.
