Tried out the Sonicake Sonic IR with my pedalboard today and made a little Funk-Rock jam straight into the DAW. Drums played on M-Audio Kode 25 with SD3.

Jaqueline and Horst they come running
they pass the truck to the corridor
there ain't no time to search in all the places
so in a rush they go straight for the bomb

And the firemen realize they're dieing
they just lie in wait until their time is up
then they take a sip and they start laughing and smoking
before they just play it all one more time

//all writing, recording, mixing (sort of..) of this track took place on november 15th,  2014 in Marburg, Germany.

//This track is not mastered and almost no compressors were used during production, so it is not very loud. I might master it to normal volume levels when I find time. Until then I recommend you TURN THE VOLUME UP! :D

After helping out  my good friends of bubutel with some of the mastering of their record I finally got to play with some synths myself. Quite impressed with the possibilites, they sounded somewhat like what I would describe as "Betrunken in der Elektrodisco".

Done in Reaper with Synthmaster 2.7 and the brilliant "Tactile Sounds TS-808" VSTi (which is free/donationware btw).
