O paulistano Volkoder é produtor desde os 16 anos de idade, e já lançou por selos como Suara, Toolroom, Kittball, Snatch! Records e Material. Inaugurando sua participação em um dos selos mais quentes da house music, seu remix para “Everytime I See You” tem sido tocado por nomes quentíssimos como Jamie Jones, Petet Tong e Hot Since 82.
 
Sempre apresentando o que há de mais inovador na House Music, o selo de Jamie Jones convidou Nathan Barato e Volkoder para compor seu útlimo lançamento. A música “Everytime I See You” é uma faixa repleta de groove com uma linha de baixo envolvente, o que resulta em uma sonoridade nova: exatamente o que as pistas de dança merecem neste começo do verão. 

Producer since the age of 16 years old, Volkoder has produced music for major labels such as Kittball, Material, Snatch! Records, Street King among many others. His music has been championed by Jamie Jones and Lee Foss and they are happy to have him onboard the label.

Brazil’s Volkoder releases the ‘Prospective’ EP on Lee Foss’ Repopulate Mars, featuring 3 solid house

tracks.

Having appeared on the likes of Material, Snatch!, Kittball and Suara, Marcos Benedetti’s talent as a

producer is indisputable - even been tapped to remix the likes of Kerri Chandler and Guy Gerber. It’s

therefore unsurprising that Volkoder’s productions have frequented the sets of Jamie Jones, Catz n’ Dogz

and Tube & Berger, not to mention Lee Foss who’s now inducting him into his Repopulate Mars roster.

‘Prospective’ immediately builds the energy levels with a popping bass, intoxicating vocals and consuming

drum arrangements before ‘For Me’ opens up to echoing soundscapes and emotive vox edits, making it a

tune impossible to stand still to. Finally, ‘Fools’ introduces fragmented percussion above a high-octane,

pulsating bass line as clanging claps and a looped voice keep listeners locked in.

With an already impressive discography in just a few short years, his new 'How I Talk' EP adds to his run of stand-out tech house monsters. He leads off with 'How', who's rolling bassline and chanting takes the energy to the next level, while 'I Talked' features just as a rumbling of a bass and vocal stabs that keep things going. It all began in Detroit.
No, seriously: “Detroit” was the first EP ever created by Marcos Benedetti, the young man from São Paulo whose dream of becoming an architect gave way to another dream, consisting on architecting quality electronic music under the creative alias “Volkoder”.
“Detroit” hit the Bull's eye, charted by artists from the likes of Jamie Jones, and played all over the world by Lee Foss, Catz’n Dogz, Sandy Rivera, Patrick Topping, Tube & Berger and many others. Not bad for a first timer.
Following this tremendous success, Volkoder signed with german label Kittball Records, and his unique style led to many invites to work on remixes for musicians who were eager for his fresh touch: Guy Gerber, Kerri Chandler, Dennis Ferrer and Tiger Stripes were some of them.
2014 was a blast: Volkoder signed with massive labels like Toolroom, Suara, Snatch! OFF, Material and Hot Creations, besides releasing his first album. DJs from the likes of Carl Cox,
Jamie Jones, Marco Carola, Luciano, Claude VonStroke and Nic Fanciulli have been playing his hot tracks nonstop. No wonder, for they are easily found: the "wonder kid" featured 15 tracks on the Beatport TOP100 in one year, making him one of the best sellers of dance music in 2014. Soon enough everyone wanted to see this diamond in a rough, and the invitations from clubs and festivals throughout Brazil came quickly: Warung Beach Club, Tomorrowland, D-Edge, Anzu Club, Tribaltech, XXXperience Festival, Kaballah Festival and so on. The time has come and Volkoder was ready to show his talent on the decks.
The success was so, that the DJ and musician has been awarded “Best Newcomer DJ” and “ Best Producer/Remixer” on the 2015 RMC Awards, selected by the critics. Such honors only serve as fuel to keep Volkoder busy, building a bigger and better career over the next years.
