El electro que ensaya Wachita China como productor surge de la posibilidad infinita de intertextualidad que habilita el sampleo. Aislar voces, bajos o beats, -en suma, citar y recomponer tracks de otrxs- es la operación que caracteriza a sus producciones, en las cuales  iguala hip hop hitero, con ghetto subterráneo o recientemente voces latinas del trap o del funky carioca. Sólo incluye sonidos que lo identifican sin pensar necesariamente en su carga histórica sino más como termómetro que evalúa lo que está pasando en las urbes.  El rework es para él ya un modo de existencia, y este dj set borra las fronteras entre lo propio y lo de lxs demás. Super excited to welcome the lovely  Isora to our mix series for #097.

Italian born & now London based, Isora cut her teeth mixing in Glasgow, Scotland - doing electro, booty, jungle and hardcore between Glasgow and Edinburgh dance floors. After only one year DJing, ISORA became a resident at London-based, Booty + Hardcore, record label and party starters - Hyperdome Records; as well as with: EPiKA, an all-female DJ collective based in Edinburgh. Including a bi-monthly residency at Glasgow-based Radio Buena Vida.

Since then she's continued to smash it, we can say you are in for a treat as she has ultra technical skills and an impeccable selection. A set from Isora always promises to be a belter of a sonic journey, carefully selecting tracks that will keep you going from start to end.


All good sets need to have great pacing, when to build tension, when to let it bang and when to let the music just groove along and also when to make it vibey as fuck. Having recently had her London debut with Das Booty; she's raring to get back into the booth to show y'all what she's got!

Careering through the red sandy desert it was hard to see through the fog. There was but a faint line in which the sky met the open plains before them as they bounced and shuffled atop the dusty outback in their little buggy.

From time to time they'd catch a brief glimpse through the smog to see the sunlight up above but sooner than it had come it would vanish in a flash plunging them once again into the smokey abyss of the great unknown.

The journey had always been a perilous one, even in the best of conditions and circumstances it was a challenge for the most ardent of adventurers.

This was what separated them from the rest, an explore 2.0 if you will. The keenest of the keen and the only team that might be able to transcend the reckless wasteland which was this red desert of chaos.

Frankfurt producer n9oc releases a new EP on Die Orakel, a futuristic release which draws influence from UK bass, deconstructed club sounds and Techno. It's as pensive as it is euphoric in moments.
