The idea from which this EP is born is the search for home, adapting and finding your own identity far from the place of origin. Or how living in a new place suddenly removes all the foundations. In Greek mythology, Hestia is the goddess of fire that gives warmth and life to homes. From this inspiration, and several experiences of moving to a new city or country, Voltereta shapes these four tracks. The melodies here are presented as a guide to a more advanced sonic experimentation. An old organ, door sounds, clicks, rain or other recordings collected in Gdańsk, Košice, Berlin, Barcelona or Villena are very present in this work. There are open spaces, wide, unbeatable avenues and there are also corners of some lived house. An EP that opens another stage, like a slit that lets in the light and floods the entire room.

La idea de la que nace este EP es la búsqueda del hogar, la adaptación y el encuentro de la propia identidad lejos del lugar de origen. O cómo el vivir en un sitio nuevo remueve, de forma súbita, todos los cimientos. En la mitología griega, Hestia es la diosa del fuego que da calor y vida a los hogares. Desde esta inspiración y, a partir de varias experiencias de cambios de ciudad y de país, Voltereta da forma a estos cuatro temas. Las melodías aquí se presentan como guía de una experimentación más avanzada a nivel sonoro. Un órgano viejo, sonidos de puertas, chasquidos, lluvia y otras grabaciones recogidas en Gdańsk, Košice, Berlín, Barcelona o Villena están muy presentes en este trabajo. Hay espacios abiertos, amplios, avenidas inabarcables y hay también rincones y esquinas de alguna casa vivida. Un EP que abre otra etapa, como una rendija que deja pasar la luz e inunda toda la estancia.
