This is my remix of ‘Bolero’ (the song that plays at the end credits of 'Moulin Rouge' - a story about love).

The movie is a musical that uses mostly pre-existing songs in a new style or genre. So in spirit of this, I’ve also added lyrics from the other featured songs: ’The Show Must Go On’, ’Nature Boy’ and ‘Come What May’.

An insane number of musicians were involved in some way for this movie so I can definitely think of a couple of more mash-up ideas, haha. I remember re-playing the end credits to ‘ear-study’ this piece in particular… over and over. I always wanted to remix it - and here it is.

I downloaded a Jay-Z acappella, picked my favourite lines to sing from both Mike Shinoda and Chester Bennington’s lyrics and yeah, you’ll find my usual sounds here too. :)

Here is my electronic cover/remix of 'Something Wicked (This Way Comes)' which is originally by Siouxsie and the Banshees.

On their 'All Souls' album, there is a very spooky track that plays right after. So, I composed an arrangement where both songs play together in one piece in my dream-synth style.

Dizma presents an odd spectacle. A re-imagined electronic cover of 'Blue Skies' with one of my local forests glitching out. I get so spooked when I'm in a forest on my own... it was lunchtime when I filmed this. The birds in the video were watching me. xD

As for the music, I went for it... Vocals, piano & violin in my dark, dreamy, dramatic soundscape and an arrangement composed by me.

For the video, I have been geeking out a lot on Adobe After Effects. Honestly, I really dig neon colours and our beautiful Planet Earth. :P
