New Drum & Bass Guest Mix from @jambareef_jungle as we build up for our second Underground Sounds Event on October 2nd at The Courthouse.
With the success of the last Underground Sounds event, we are excited to get even more DJs involved with the next one, including Jambareef who has been getting heavily involved in the UK scene. 
A very talented DJ & Producer who has released numerous tunes on Soundcloud, and has included some of his own unreleased tunes in this mix, he has recently supported the likes of DJ Hazard, Matrix & Futurebound, AC13 & Unglued.

After a stellar release on Saoirse's label trUst—which caught the attention of DJs like Ben UFO, rRoxymore and dBridge—Ryan Aitchison aka Mella Dee is back on the dials for another outing of quality tech ‘aus fodder.

Rug Cutters Vol. 1 kicks off a slew of upcoming dancefloor weapons from the Warehouse Music boss. Visually underlined by his own original artworks, the EP shows off Mella Dee’s signature flair for whipping up raw, no-nonsense ingredients into irresistibly infectious grooves.

Vol. 1 starts strong with ‘Cutting Snakes (Keep on Moving)’, a track that screams instant classic with its shuffling beat and fat, sassy synthline. A2 track ‘Bumps (You Say)’ dives deep into those bassbin vibrations—it’s big, rude, and dead set on shaking up even the swampiest of dancefloors. Together, these cuts are not messing around.

On the flip, ‘Cutters (They Don't Get It)’ plays with the more futuristic, percussive end of the techno continuum. Drum breaks slither over each other, while a minimal vocal and bass hook locks everything down. Finally, ‘Pay No Mind (Who Am I)’ pulls the EP back to euphoria. This one will have the club cruising to its cocktail of flirty chord stabs and soulful house vocals—you’ll never want to go home.

Luckily, it won’t be long before we get one more tune from Ryan Aitchison—with plenty on the horizon, ‘Rug Cutters Vol. 1’ is also a taste of what’s to come. Stay tuned!

Marcus Christian is a 26 year old up and coming DJ from Pontefract but now residing in Brisbane Australia. 

He started his journey back in 2019 when he first bought some decks and learnt himself how to DJ, he then just fell in love with it. From there he played his first set in 2020 & played in well known places like Barnsley, Doncaster, Leeds just to name a few. He also played in Ibiza in 2022. Marcus’s sound isnt genre specific as it varies from Minimal, Electronic to UKG. Hes also just made his Australia debut with a set in the Gold Coast an hopefully will get to play out more often in Australia. Marcus has high hopes to keep his dream alive with DJ’ing and is one to watch for sure.

Mark Hanson is a DJ and producer from Carmel in North wales, he also known for his part in the running of FM 102.3. His style is infulenced by the older DJ's and Producers, such as Kerri Chandler, Kevin Sanderson, Frankie Knuckles & Underground Resistance.
