Wooooow, for me this is one of my favourite sets I've played this year so far. Thanks to all the dancers and supporters who made this 2 1/2 hour ride very special to me! 
As a dj I constantly experience phases where I doubt myself or the music I'm playing. Asking myself if what I do is enough. I've learned that a lot of people are experiencing those moments of doubt and anger and I've learned to appreciate those feelings because they are my metamorphosis in this beautiful process of beeing a musician.
Coming to Halle and seeing a lot of my friends and people who supported me on my way always makes me feel grateful and happy.
So I hope you enjoy this set as much as I did while playing it!

That Set is my favourite one since years..
Why ? because it's the very first recorded one on my new controller (opus quad pioneer) & i felt like i was back 30 years ago when i used to play on mk2. Was just a pure moment of bliss, using new stuff & old epic ones, always searching to maintain an high Nrgy of dance & positive vibes all along.
I'm so Proud & also hurry to see what you will think about that perf, at home, learning to use that fantastic machine. So don't hesitate to comment (in a way or other) what you feel .

Lovely people,

I had the honor to play in the infamous Noodle Lounge at Ankleideraum festival in the northern part of the Netherlands. This place is something extraordinary, a dream-like space to get lost, but small enough to find everyone again :-)

It's been a looong time – I can't really recall – since I played a downtempo set and pressed the record button. As many of you know, when I started producing music, my love for this genre became pretty dominant, but I like it all, slow and fast :-)
This set contains a bunch of great tracks from others, and some released and unreleased work by myself. Nothing planned, just go with the flow. I hope you like it.

So.. Last monday(might as well have been every other monday)was one full of moodswings. I decided, instead of fighting against it, simply to just give into it and to record a set in which my own mood decided the next track, instead of what i think would fit the crowd's mood. It took me, and hence the set, all over the place and it varies from ambient to downtempo'd deep house music and vinyl to digital tracks transitions. Hope you guys like it and are looking forward to my next Manic Monday Moodswing Session! Hope it will be one without the moodswings though, but we'll see :)

I was so nervous before I started playing, but once I began and seeing all the beautiful people swaying to the sounds in front of the booth, I felt nothing but love. The warm feeling you all gave me determined the trackselection so that's probably why there were a bunch of 70's vibe tracks in it.
Afterwards when I was (completely exhausted) sitting on the couch outside, a bunch of people came to me with such sweet compliments and one guy in particular told me that i played a bunch of tracks which made him want to come up on stage and hug me
I hope we'll all meet again very soon and wanted to express my thanks to  everyone who was there at the party and stayed there untill the early hours for all the hugs and all the love
Special thanks goes out to @konchord, @farn-berlin and @deep_schismic for inviting me and making me feel as welcome as you guys did. You all did an amazing job.

Volzigt’s musical journey began when he picked up a guitar for the first time. It was then that he discovered an unquenchable thirst for music. This initial spark led him down a rabbit hole from which he never looked back.

Influenced by his early love for hip-hop, house, and the unmistakable groove of disco, Volzigt started out playing vinyl and has navigated through a diverse array of musical landscapes. After years of experimentation and evolution, his productions and DJ sets have crystallized into a sound that is deeply melancholic, uplifting, occasionally tinged with psychedelia, and always rooted in the darker side of organic house.

As a co-owner of We Are Obscure, an event organization and record label, Volzigt plays a pivotal role in curating a broad spectrum of electronic music, with a particular focus on the more obscure and nuanced aspects of organic house. He is also one of the key figures behind the evolution of Club Escargot, an event that has been instrumental in developing the downtempo scene in Amsterdam, shaping it into a vibrant and essential part of the city’s subcultures.

Volzigt has graced the decks of major clubs in Amsterdam and Berlin, bringing his distinctive sound to some of the most renowned venues. His music has found a home on respected labels such as Baikal Nomads, Obscure Records, and trndmsk, earning him a reputation for producing tracks that are as emotionally deep as they are sonically rich.

As an artist, Volzigt continues to push the boundaries of his craft, constantly seeking new ways to blend melancholy with euphoria, creating an immersive experience that resonates long after the music has stopped.
