Gordon Ashby and Jeremy Ward have been making music together for over a decade. The two met in middle school and soon realized a shared passion for playing guitar and writing songs. During high school Ashby and Ward released several recordings online before graduating and attending different colleges two hours apart. During this time Ashby and Ward managed to self produce and release their first full length album with the band Fallen Parrot, which was made up of Ashby, Ward and three mutual friends from high school. The duo next founded the band Focus Motel, a four piece established for the sole purpose of playing wild house parties, and to this extent the band was an overwhelming success. Ashby and Ward now make up the band von Klein, their most ambitous project to date. On November 1, 2015 they released their first full length album entitled 'Ventilator,' which was written, recorded, performed and produced entirely by Ashby and Ward.
