Von Intellekt from Welkom joined forces with Cape Town producer Ash Cue to craft this gem. Originally recorded and put to bed in 2013, it felt right for Intel to release it this year. Inspired by the likes of Eminem’s “Rap God”, Kendrick’s verse on “Control” and Pusha T’s My Name Is My Name album, he carries it upon himself to give Hip Hop listeners some more of the hardest bars. An excellent display of lyricism and hunger over a beat that might be responsible in a few neck injuries from all that head bopping

A song is about the re-creation of an artist who is about to step in a new phase in his career. Reflecting on internal issues and parts of his past, Von lyrically builds a bridge and looks ahead to his future. The self-produced track is the first single off his soon to be released project titled “Pictures of Sound”

Welkom's Baby Boi links up with producer and MC Chabi Mas on two songs (Speedin' and Only A Matter of Time) which feature vocalist HymnSLF. The Wolf King also travels in time on the Kokaina-produced "Blasé". The EP is an ode to his hometown Welkom and a promise to his supporters.
