Manchester native Loz Goddard has been crafting high quality releases since 2015, garnering early support from the likes of Mr. Scruff, Mike Huckaby, Move D and Session Victim. The ever-eclectic producer has since partnered up with esteemed labels such as Seb Wildblood’s Church imprint and deep-house institution - Quintessentially, Loz has since reinvented his sound with an experimental edge and a penchant for live instrumentation. It’s Goddard’s ability to explore a wide range of genres and tempos whilst maintaining an authentically personal sound that is particularly special. Whether it’s the slow ambient motions inspired by the likes of Boards of Canada or the rattling breakbeat workouts imbued with the spirit of the nineties U.K underground, this northern powerhouse delivers a deeply immersive sound design to be utilised in the club and for home listening. His latest work has been manifested in the form of the ‘Balloon Tree Road’, an LP set for release on Oath.

San-Sebastian based producer Divorce From New York (AKA Alvaro Granda), returns with his brand new LP ‘Sausalito’. With his previous full-length 2021 offering ‘This Ain’t Jazz No More’  having gained support from Tom Ravenscroft (BBC 6 Music), Jamz Supernova (BBC Radio 1Xtra), Worldwide FM, BBC Radio 1,  Errol (Touching Bass), DJ Mag & many more - the stage is set for this heady and potent sophomore release.

Featuring seven brand-new and flavour-packed tracks, ‘Sausalito’ is an uplifting and joyous listen from start to finish. Immersing himself in his extensive collection of Jazz, Soul and Disco vinyl, Alvaro channels golden sunshine-injected influences into a wonderfully cohesive and infectious record. With extensive live performances scheduled for Summer 22 (including a performance at Kala Festival) you can expect to hear this one doing damage on the world’s dancefloors.  

‘Holly Grove’ evokes a sense of mystery and intrigue with it’s celestial rhodes and flute flourishes, before being joined by syncopated bruk-beats and the alluring vocals of Sarah Zoyaya, who’s tones entwine with some wild synth playing and twisting polyrhythms. Final single ‘I Haven’t Recovered From Last Night With You’ entrances the listener with it’s hypnotic saturated percussion, swirling vocals and reverb-laced key stabs. Creating visions of endless and vast expanses, it shows Alvaro’s ability to weave textures and melody to incredible effect.

Celebrating the label’s 25th anniversary, Far Out Recordings presents a series of limited edition vinyl 12”s highlighting its contribution to underground dance music. Including reissues of sought-after floor fillers, previously unreleased club tools and brand-new productions from some key players in Far Out history, the series begins with Global Communication’s ‘Space Jazz’ remix of Azymuth’s ‘Jazz Carnival’.
	
One of the label’s most requested reissues, it’s a typically timeless effort from the duo comprising Mark Pritchard and Tom Middleton and has stayed relevant within the house/techno canon for over twenty years. The A side presents the original LP version of Azymuth’s 1996 redux of their all-time classic, instrumental disco hit ‘Jazz Carnival’, which originally appeared on Azymuth’s first full-length venture on Far Out, Carnival (1996).

Presented in a special 25th anniversary house bag, the full-length 12-minute version of this all time classic has been re-mastered from the original DAT and pressed to heavyweight vinyl, it will also be made available digitally for the first time.
