Newcomers to the Icelandic music scene, Von Darko formed in early 2020 in Reykjavík, Iceland with founding members Bassist Mark Berge and vocalist Christopher Hickey, experimenting under the umbrella of experimental Post-Rock and Shoegaze sounds. 

Over two years of soul searching for a progressive drummer and guitarist through the Covid19 darkness, the test of time and creative passion finally lured the talents of Percussionist Friðjón Guðlaugsson and lead guitarist Baldur Sigurgeirsson to the current 2021 line-up. 

This dynamic collaboration with Baldur and Friðjón instantly gave birth to new and exciting possibilities, transitioning the band into nostalgic Nuwave, Manchester and Indie Rock infusions with ongoing plans towards the inclusion of a more electronically/synth influenced series of future singles.
