CAGEY is a punchy cocktail of sly bass hooks, raw machine grooves, and found sounds, all tied together by vocals that shape-shift from staccato statements to haunted murmurs and back again. Featuring six tracks including a remix by Colombian producer Filmmaker. The opener Cagey is one that we premiere today; Cagey sets the tone with an elastic, Liaisons Dangereuses-esque bassline coiling around its tail and a propulsive electro beat juxtaposed with the track's cadenced vocals.

Datura Inoxia “Toloache” was born as a dancefloor music project since 2022 performed by Christian Cassale, creating obscure atmospheres from Mexico City. Techno-EBM based in dark
rhythms reflecting distorted feelings as love and loneliness, recording vocals and lyrics influenced by post punk.
Masacre is based in a true story : During the year 1968 before the Olympic Games, on July 22, a crowd of students rises their voices against the repression of the Mexican government. During the movement, the Mexican government used police, military and paramilitary forces, killing 400 students in the plaza de las tres culturas in Mexico City, this event is known as “the Tlatelolco massacre”.

Cultivated Electronics Ltd's "For The Floor" series features split EPs available on vinyl (only) with Electro tracks aimed strictly at the dance floor, bringing together CE regulars alongside new artists.  Previous instalments have presented tracks by DeFeKT, Rico Casazza, Tripeo, Cycloplex, Steve Allman and Alex Jann.  Volume 4 now delivers 2 new tracks apiece by Ben Pest and Maëlstrom.

Bristol's Ben Pest has established notoriety as an exponent of jacking live hardware-based techno and electro with numerous releases on labels including Asking For Trouble, I Love Acid, No Static / Automatic, Orson Records, Don't and more.  Here he delivers heavy bass, vocal distortions and tough beats on "Who Would Have Thought I'd Be" and the accompanying "26 Hybrid".

Maëlstrom has a history of aliases and side projects, illegal raves thrown in warehouses, fields and basements, but he came into his own under his Maëlstrom moniker, releasing music on the likes of RAAR (the label he co-founded with Louisahhh), Cultivated Electronics, Central Processing Unit, Mechatronica, Private Persons and Discos Atónicos.  Back on CE, he brings a metallic sound to his punchy and rugged tracks "ASCII TWINS" and "PERMANENCY".

There are BRAVERS residents, Russian and foreign guests, united with their love for industrial music — Antoni Maiovvi (@antonmaiof) from Bristol, WLDV (@wldv) from Bilbao, Velax (@iamvelax) from St. Petersburg and the resident of the Moscow label BRAVERS - Anton Levdikov (@antonlevdikov).

The cover was created by collecting different parts of faces: portraits of listeners, artists and members of the electronic music lovers. Everybody have its own distinctive features, but at the same time related for the one large community.

Salma is a multi-genre Tunisian DJ/ Music Producer and Sound Artist based in Berlin. Through her music, she navigates home, nostalgia, and identity. Her practice centers on FLINTA* & BIPoC solidarity as well as crafting sets that are personally resonant and politically aware.

Chtih w Rdih is a five-track sonic exploration of a fractured psyche navigating the modern world. It captures the central duality of the uncontrollable hustle and creative mania of the city, contrasted with an unbothered state of effortlessly flowing through chaos.

The EP reflects this internal conflict through a powerful fusion of explosive breakbeats and deep, hypnotic grooves. Intricate Arabic percussion and melancholic melodies from the oud, violin, and qanun are woven throughout, creating a soundscape that is both ancient and futuristic. Born in Tunis 33 years ago, Vondkreistan has forged his own artistic path, fusing industrial influences with cutting-edge electronic rhythms. Settled in Strasbourg, his mother town, in 2008 he discovered the dark, hard-hitting world of EBM through such emblematic figures as Kraftwerk, Front 242 and Nitzer Ebb. This musical revelation led him to explore techno and industrial sounds in greater depth.

It was in 2010 that he decided, as a self-taught musician, to immerse himself in music production. Discreet and a perfectionist, he prefers to concentrate on building his own sound universe. His meticulous work gives rise to a hybrid sound, somewhere between EBM, dark techno and electroclash, where each texture is thought of as a piece of sound architecture.

His musical sincerity has earned him the support of labels such as Mosaique Records and Nocturbulous Records, as well as the recognition of influential artists such as Commuter, The Hacker, Djedjotronic and Principleasure. Always on the lookout for new experimentation, Vondkreistan continues to forge his own distinctive style that resonates throughout the electronic underground.
