Our sunrise outting at Burning Man is one of my favorite happenings each year. It's a culmination of our art car project, the Dirty Goat Roadhouse, DJing, and celebrating a new day with loved ones. It's pretty special. 
This mix is a selection of tracks that I don't play out very often. These are not bangers or heavy hitters, but a collection of minimal/deep/tech/melodic house music spanning over 15 years. This sunrise was right before the big storms, the sky was spectacular. Please enjoy the mello vibes.

I first put this together in early 2023 expecting to release a mix at that time. It went through several iterations, but I never released it. Here is the result, which is also almost exactly what I played one evening at Burning Man 2023, and has been requested several times since. Enjoy!

Bringing the analog and digital worlds together in perfect harmony: funky, uplifting, hypnotic, deep but danceable, whether in the club, in the lounge, on the playa, or on a beach in Miami, for the legendary Yellow Party at Love Burn,  Jays sets are meant to take you on a journey, Music that awakens the conscious, and stirs the soul, with an emphasis on seamless transitions meant to keep you going onward and upward. Expertly crafted mixes that push the boundaries of what dance music can be, not just synthisizers and drum machines,(though there’s plenty of that) but real people playing real instruments too. All locked together in a steady danceable groove.
As a producer, his releases on Kolour Recordings, Phat Farm Music and 10mm Omega have reached the top 20 on the Nu Disco charts, been featured in traxsource's weekend weapons, and deep house essentials and been supported from Djs, Soul Minority, Oscar P, J&M Brothers, Rick Preston, Sleazy McQueen, John Howard and Alexander East. He also plays drums, performs, produces and records with several other projects in the Charlotte NC area; Muchacho, Heart of a Ghost, Jason Herring and the Mystery Plan and a new project in the works, Midlife Niceness along with That Guy Smitty.
