Premiering in Tiësto's set at EDC Las Vegas, Sandro Silva & Quintino's "Epic" is quickly carving out a unique space for itself. The track has already made its way to Laidback Luke’s highly regarded live mix on Radio FG, earlier this month.

Created by two of dance music’s most promising new talents, this moody track does not fall short of its title’s promise. "Epic" features an ethereal classical chord progression followed by a haunting yet simple, tasteful melody. The song offers a unique blend of classic dance progressions and textures mixed with contemporary hands in the air simplicity.

Sandro Silva and Quintino are receiving recognition and support from today’s biggest DJ’s; the fresh and innovative sound of “Epic” is guaranteed to floor more than a few crowds this summer. Sandro Silva’s 2010 release “Prom Night” was featured as an Essential Choice on Pete Tong’s show and in June, Quintino collaborated with one of the biggest producers of the moment, Afrojack, bringing music fans the killer tune “Selecta.”

Alexander Dorkian (31,aka Galactika) from Hamburg Germany.
Alexander Dorkian has been around with his Project NOK for many years, playing live at countless parties and releasing numerous tracks. Among them quite some summer hits, like “In Heaven With You” and “Wave Out”. Now he finally presents his debut album, New Order. Like a distillation product of Alex' 12-year studio experience, this work represents an innovative fusion of his different styles and musical skills. On the one hand, New Order includes deep, rolling productions and complex melody compositions. Tracks like Breaking Point or New World Order transform the power and rich atmosphere of Full On into sleek Progressive grooves. On the other hand, there are also crunchy and stomping productions, drawing upon the energy of inspiring rhythms and bouncy bass lines. In this versatile and Progressive manner, the album fits perfectly into the catalogue of Blue Tunes Records. “After working with many labels, I am really happy to work exclusively with these guys now”, the man from Hamburg says. “It's very professional but at the same time relaxed and familiar”. In June a remix for Ace Ventura and Captain Hook will released. Beside other projects with Day.Din, Neelix, Klopfgeister, Rocky or Ultravoice, he is currently quite busy with Ritmo from Israel, which works out surprisingly well almost exclusively via internet. During the summer NOK can not only be heard at several festivals around Europe, but also frequently in beautiful Brazil.

Fabio & Moon

Both being notorious for their excessive passion for party and a knack for the appropriate music, their joined forces represent a mighty double dose of up-to-date Progressive sound. So it’s no wonder that the gigs and releases of Fabio & Moon hit the nerve of the international dance floors from the very first moment.

It was around 2005. Fabio knew that there was some other DJ in his hometown Hamburg named Benni Moon - and Benni Moon knew that there was some other DJ in his hometown Hamburg named Fabio. When the two of them met each other on the way to a gig, they eventually made acquaintance. Also, they figured out that they were neighbours.

Next thing they figured out was that next door there was quite interesting music: Both already had a great background as musicians and thus a lot of experience. Since they got along very well with each other, they started DJing together. This venture turned out to be a very promising one when the dance floor went on fire during their first mutual gig in 2007. One year later, Fabio and Benni decided to take their musical relationship to the next level and moved to a shared apartment as well as a shared studio.

Their sound could be described as fresh, playful, vocal-orientated, minimal Progressive Trance with a lot of bouncy offbeat rhythms and a touch of Pop. Already their debut, the Disco Damage EP, reached a number 1 ranking in the charts of Beatport. The follow-up turned out to be even more successful- the Crazy Trip EP became a highly acclaimed hit. Also the next releases, including a collaboration with Interactive Noise, gained remarkable good feedbacks.

The bursting-with-energy live appearance of Fabio & Moon did the rounds within the international scene. Among numerous gigs at many big open air festivals in Europe, like Summer Never Ends, Waldfrieden Wonderland, VuuV or Psychedelic Circus, especially their set at Aurora Festival 2010 in Greece became a memorable event in terms of fresh’n’frisky Progressive pleasure.
