From an old set of ROLI Noise loops in Live and an old random Roli set on the ROLI Noise app. I created new loops but used the instruments already selected and then brought into Live from Roland DJ 808, iPad ROLI Blocks and Seaboard. Used the set with the ROLI Noise loops, follow action on the clips. MIDI Fighter, Akai Rhythm Wolf and Push 2 with the sounds on the 3 MIDI tracks in the set.  Ran the audio to individual tracks and then grouped and Looped  all of the sounds added some effects.

Step 2: Think about what you were like when you made the recording you selected in Step 1: what state of mind, where you were in your life.

Step 3: Think about who you are now, and how you are different from who you were then.

Step 4: Remix the recording you selected in Step 1, reflecting the difference in who you are now. Treat it as if you are a different person from the one who recorded it, which may in some cases be the case.

Seven More Important Steps When Your Track Is Done:

Step 1: Include “disquiet0519” (no spaces or quotation marks) in the name of your tracks.

Step 2: If your audio-hosting platform allows for tags, be sure to also include the project tag “disquiet0519” (no spaces or quotation marks). If you’re posting on SoundCloud in particular, this is essential to subsequent location of tracks for the creation of a project playlist.

Step 3: Upload your tracks. It is helpful but not essential that you use SoundCloud to host your tracks.

Step 4: Post your track in the following discussion thread at llllllll.co:

Both locations are near Xicanx Parks and old buildings with restaurants. IR Responses and Photos Videos of the space were captured.
JuiceBox Of Paradise joined us for a Flo session at BirdSeed Collective and Youth On Record. These visuals were then ran thru Photosounder for Live audio visual synthesis. EboSuite and MAX for Live was used for video instruction and creation. Field recorders were provided to students who participated in the program and created drum racks in Live. Third Future is a Beats By Girlz Denver location in Aurora where IR responses were captured.

Disquiet Junto Project 0636: Left (1 of 3)

The Assignment: Record the first third of a trio.

Please note: While this project is the start of a three-part sequence that will unfold over the course of three weeks, you can participate in any or all three of those parts.

Step 1: This week’s Junto project is the first in a sequence intended to encourage and reward collaboration. You will be recording something with the understanding that it will remain unfinished for the time being. Your part will be done, but more will happen. Read on.

Step 2: The plan is for you to record a short and original piece of music using any instrumentation of your choice. Conceive the piece as something that leaves room for something else — other instruments, other people — to join in. (Keep in mind that your piece would appear panned to the left in the finished recording, after three weeks.)

Step 3: Record a short piece of music, roughly two to three minutes in length, as described in Step 2.

Step 4: This is important: be sure to make your track downloadable because it may be used by someone else in the next Disquiet Junto project, and then after that.

I used a section of the vocal I visually liked, I recorded, looped, streeched, repeated on the same section slowed again. I then used the Roli to play in some wave sounds and clicks.I used vocal patch on a layered section of vocal. I added a few 808 on a few beats to simulate the heart.

I utilized a clip from some Fajitas a server was running to another table that I captured. I then looped the clip and added Roland 808 drum sequencing. I then used the ROLI to add in additional tones. I added some bass and compression to the Fajitas.

I created loops of sections of the tracks that made me tingly. I then tuned and adjusted the frequency. Using a looper I took 16 bars of 2 selections and then reversed it. Chopped up the loop and compressed it. Then adding a motion to the sounds using different shaped wav forms.
