This vinyl is a compilation of the most resonant four songs I was producing for the last few years. All these songs had great exposure between labels and fans of the downtempo and folktronica genre. Every song has a special individual story and is reflecting the time and space and situations around me at that moment. Here is a short summary about songs.

About this song :"Doina Mamei de Seara" is a lullaby song dedicated to the memory of the mother of Bliz Nochi. But this song is not only about this one particular person. This music is about mothers' love. This Love fulfills us during our whole life, and we use this reserve of love to go thru our life experiences and share them with other humans and the world. Enjoy and feel your Mothers love"

Bliz Nochi It is an artist name of a Moldavian Musician, Oleg Dubin.
Bliz Nochi means Twilight. This musical identity is the result of many years of experiments in music. My topic is searching in the roots of Moldavian culture, a spirit, I can form in the modern electronic music sound design. I grew up in a family of musicians. I prefer to call my genre Ethnotronica or Folcotronica. It is a mixture of electronic music and folk
dance music. It is based on traditional instruments such as Caval, Pimac, Nai, Zurna,Duduk, and other ethnic instruments, in my songs, I am as well mixing the sounds of nature, which I am recording while traveling.
I create the music for dancing and listening at the same time. For Chill-Raves, Ecstatic Dance, And all sorts of background music.

We are gathered here today to commemorate in song the life of a great legend, the one and only Pingipung Records. 

For many years now, Tepeme has been amazed and inspired by the Hamburg label, release after release we get extreme curation quality, eclectic nature and outstanding artworks. It's beautiful that no matter the genres of their more than 70 (!) releases, we say "that's Pingipung"; few labels accomplish that in our eyes.

So, it is with such pleasure and honor to host one of the tracks pertaining their 20th Anniversary release: RVDS from Hamburg delivers a joyful desert ride with a psychedelic cabaret-like twist. Perfect to let imagination take over.

2002-2022, that’s 20 years of Pingipung! The German record label celebrates its anniversary with exclusive tracks by a fine selection of artists from the label roster as well as new names. Instead of looking back at the classics, Pingipung chose to compile a kaleidoscopic preview of possible future directions for the label.
The line-up features playfully melancholic songs by Museum Of No Art, Peter Power or The Notwist, an excursion to the desert by RVDS or a psychedelic take on Dub in Tolouse Low Trax’ remix for the Ainu singer Umeko Ando. Artists such as Anadol, Y Bülbül, MD Pallavi & Andi Otto, M.RUX, Sven Kacirek, Schlammpeitziger, Peter Presto and F.S.Blumm are already well known to the Pingipung audience. They contribute exclusive new tracks, adding to their existing output on the label.

It’s impossible to file this compilation under a genre, which is exactly the case with Pingipung in general - bull’s eye. The collection of tracks is pressed in the perfect format to match the Pingipung jubilee: A 2x10’’ vinyl in a gatefold sleeve.

Unfortunately we have never met before, but thats just a matter of time. Currently they are on tour in Turkey and will be back in Switzerland in September. This song is a bridge between the east and the west. Feeling the oriental roots is what makes Harmonie special and making their music here in Switzerland is what refracts them from the wanderlust. They want to reflect their culture through music and take the listener to either east or west hoping that s\he is experiencing the best!

We've seen it coming... Summer is slowly fading, but there is yet some precious sunlight to grab!
A long time in the process and still perfectly on schedule arrives our latest installment to melodize the change of seasons and to soothe summers send-off into the southern parts.

It was once foretold, a long time family member by the name of @g-a-t-s would come to the light and bring with him a bundle of sounds, gathered on his quests, begotten with close accomplices. 

The melancholicly beautiful "Schicksalsmelodie" is finally caught in the moment and ready to be unleashed into its future.
 
On "Cabo Verde" GATS got his @yelagua band members @lagoonsvoice and @tmplsound on board to sail around the shores and get lost in the siren calls.

And then third original "Christian Acid", instrumentally supported by Russian slowburner Donev, may guide you to spiritual freedom, or just take you on a ride. Might be up to you, i guess.

And what would all this frenzy be about, if we didn't have two fine remodels to go with it, thought of and conceived by the voodoolicious Ibu Selva and the irresistible Tofu Resistance, heading straight towards the dancefloors.

Recorded live in a remote place somewhere in the amazon jungles of Peru, February 2019.

We transformed the Maloca into an outdoor sound studio and recorded all sounds with binaural microphones. The whole community gathered around the sacred fire to play with us. Together we created this crazy psychedelic hip hop track. eigenklang's johann @schlaufe heated up the place with some crazy beats out of the Pocket Operator.

Mit Mutti In Der Prärie # 7 - la marmota

An argentinean producer/luthier and a British producer/environmental activist joined by the love of traditional music and slow electronics, under the premise of “music without borders”. This led to the birth of the Shika Shika collective some five years ago but also their collaborative project, HIstory of Colour.
Since 2013, Agustin Rivaldo (Barrio Lindo) and Robin Perkins (El Búho) been working together under the premise of finding and tuning their crossover sound as History of Colour.
After the unexpected success of their last EP “ Calidoso”, History of Colour is back to present their debut album, “Antumbra”.

These two producers, who have each made a name for themselves in the Latin American downtempo electronica scene, have been slow-roasting this eight instrumental track release for the past two years. Since they started to collaborate, their creative processes have always been done remotely. Though this album started like this, they took the opportunity to come together in person for different sessions.

On the album the duo explore a new path, one that envelops the essence of their South American musical inspirations with darkly happy melodies and psychedelic arpeggios. Featuring German talent M.RUX, frequent Shika Shika collaborator, and Portuguese composer MaguPi, “Antumbra” writes the next chapter of this musical brotherhood.

Shika Shika Collective will also release the project that encapsulates the beginnings of the collective on vinyl for the first time.
