Diguital Trip & Ecotono - Goldencumb

The new concept EP of Daniel Monaco is the story of a group of friends who have ventured on a mysterious Island with the only mission to enter its infamous Reptilian Club. The tracks are a mix of Disco, Tropical and Dub an obscure psychedelic trip performed and recorded live at Daniel’s studio, but the adventure is not over yet because Enter The Island is not only a long trip into a mystical place is actually also a Board Game for two to four players. The idea was born during the first lockdown. Due the big crisis brought by Covid-19 there were no chances to print vinyl for this EP therefore Daniel thought to design a game made exclusively for this concept, its rules are unique as well as its design reflecting perfectly the spirit of the music.

Alessandro Rosa is the artist who made the design, the BoardGame is the same size of a Vinyl cover made with Forex printed white on black. An unprecedented concept unique in its genre a the creative reaction against hard times.

“Cartel Dreams – Dark Reggaeton & Trap Lust” is the sound of forbidden nights, where danger and desire collide. Mixing reggaeton beats, Latin trap rhythms, and dark cinematic atmospheres, this album embodies the erotic power of luxury and vice. Each track feels like a party in a cartel mansion — fast cars, champagne showers, whispered deals, and bodies moving to hypnotic rhythms. Designed for nightlife, it’s a soundtrack for lust, rebellion, and sensual excess.

Its his First Release. The three tracks reflect his interest for the native and indigenious but come along with driving baselines. Hajur Is that word that you can use in every context. It means hello, what?, or just to agree. Masaya Is the Name of a volcana in Nicaragua. The vocals for the track were recorded at a Maya Farm that Produces Cacau for chocolate in Nicaragua. Parts of the Drumset were recorded at the malecon in Havanna. The Song has a certain Groove that reminds of Latinamerica. The Vocals for Brahma were recorded with a friend of Udasa named Krishna from Nepal. For the natural Sound of Snares Udasa recorded cracking Wood in the Forest. The whole ep is in 432 hertz.

This first Full Moon of the year is brought to you by @audaemusic

"For him and the moon is an invitation to travel in space, a little journey around the moon.  I recorded it for the sake of a dear friend who left earth last year. It’s a way for me to send him some music that I like and keep the link between us, wherever he is now. The set begins with the sound recorded on the moon, followed by « Last night when we were young » by Frank Sinatra, a song that reminds me of him, of us.

My friend was a very talented musician, the day I heard he was gone was a choc. Not just because it’s tragic to leave so young, but also to know that he would not be able to make music again. From this day I promised myself that music will be a priority in my life and started to create my own. That’s why I am happy to present my very first production «  Alien » in the second position.  The rest is a compilation of slow, sometimes dark downtempo beats and end with light dreamy vibes. I put the music of great artists such as Mop Mop, Landhouse, Virken Arman, Xique-Xique, Mount Sanine, Acid Pauli, Pshiuu, Faber, Arutani and Joaquin Cornejo.

I hope you will like it as I did while making it and wish you a pleasant flight ;)

Through 6 years of collaborative events, Voodoohop has gathered a myriad of artists from different disciplines with the likes of Djs, live performers, dancers and visual artists. Together they have created a multi sensory tropical cabaret, mixing colourful and exuberant visuals, combined with elements of Brasilian traditional heritage and ritualistic performance. Nomadic in nature, the collective has transformed spaces ranging from abandoned buildings to natural hideaways. Always experimenting with different media and formats, Voodoohop is in constant flux.
