Direkt vom Camping-Stuhl am Weser-Ufer beglücken uns die Freizeit-Cheerleader im Kosmonautenanzug, die @girls-auf-chill, mit Ihrer Version musikalischer Glückseligkeiten. Leon Kostner (@leon-kostner) layed the groundwork for his intuition while performing at private events as a kid, finally leading to a bulk of gigs well-distributed between the major and minor clubs of Germanys vibrant capital. Within a year, there was almost no fortress in Berlin left for him to be conquered - so it was time for him cross borders and guide stomping feet  and twirling toes at warehouse raves and open air festivals  all over Europe, South Africa and South-East Asia. The combination of having a constant smile on his face and a true passion for well produced tunes makes it the most natural thing for him to please the crowd with marvelous sets in any possible manner. Rooted in deep friendship, we we're very happy welcoming him as a label member exactly year ago and are now to celebrate that anniversary with a recording made at our summer event of 2016.

Our next urban cosmic-cast was mixed by an artist who needs no introduction. 

Mimi Love has played herself into the hearts of countless people all over the globe with her signature sound and unforgettable gigs. Her sets are diverse and distinct, and have been known to move people’s hearts and feet in equal measure wherever she plays.
Although she can often be found discovering unknown territories, Berlin is the place where she loves to take off and land. As a member of the infamous Bachstelzen crew and resident DJ at Katerblau, she is deeply rooted in the German capital, where she has been playing many different roles in “this theatre called underground” for the past 10 years.

Her heartwarming style encompasses both slow and fast vibes, spanning a mixture of electronica-ethno, soft rock - downtempo hiphop all the way to what she calls pop-techno. This podcast is peek into her colourful collection, a mix that showcases the different kinds of music she has collected over the past months. It shows us a side of Mimi Love that we don’t always get to see in clubs - one that we’ve very happy to be able to experience for ourselves with her specially curated mix for Urban Cosmonaut Radio. VOODOOHOP is an outlandish art collective born from a series of underground parties and is now a striking artistic movement in Brazil. Through 6 years of collaborative events, Voodoohop has gathered a myriad of artists from different disciplines with the likes of Djs, live performers, dancers and visual artists. Together they have created a multi sensory tropical cabaret, mixing colourful and exuberant visuals, combined with elements of Brasilian traditional heritage and ritualistic performance. Nomadic in nature, the collective has transformed spaces ranging from abandoned buildings to natural hideaways. Always experimenting with different media and formats, Voodoohop is in constant flux.
