For this project, I got to create a podcast over the local rock/jam band Tenth Mountain Division.  I got a hold of these guys because this group just so happens to be a couple friends of mine, plus I play with them every now and then.  This podcast was very much influenced by Song Exploder, who generally never have the narrators voice, and consist mainly of the musicians being interviewed.  Unlike Song Exploder, the Tenth Mountain Division group doesn't break down a specific song.  Instead, they give the background of the band, where they met, what's the inspiration for the name, and a good story from a gig.  Like Song Exploder, I get a good recording of one of their upcoming tunes 'Eskimo'.  
The artistic approach to this podcast was to immerse the listener into the interview, adding environmental sounds like the sound of a truck, 'military'-esque sounds to represent war, boots climbing on snow and much more.  
The podcast concludes with a Tenth Mountain Division original.
