Have you ever wondered what the solo to The Final Countdown would sound like played on an accordion?  What about if Slash was to strap on a violin and play the solo to Sweet Child o’ Mine whilst Izzy knocked out the main riff on a mandolin?

Formed in 2011, when a group of longstanding friends thought it would be fun to buy each other random instruments off the internet for Christmas presents.

The Voodoo Tweed Cult of Your Mum succeeded in mastering these instruments, developing an eclectic mix of mash-up cover versions with a style best described as, “a combination of fast-paced, slam-grass and folk-polka-punk.”  

Their live show is a fun and high energy affair with lots of audience participation and a 100% guarantee to get people singing and dancing.  They can fit into any slot; be it a family friendly daytime show or a late-night afterhours bar or campfire show. 

To date they have performed and busked at festivals and events including: 
Glastonbury, Beautiful Days, HoboFest, Elemental, Chilled in a Field, Godstonebury, Soda Beats, Acoustic Air Balloon.
