VORAGINE - The Beginning Promo Set

VORAGINE 
Duo formed by Dorian Chavez and Galo Akún, who met in
the underground electronic scene around the year 2010.
They mix deep and hypnotic sounds with intensely soft and enveloping
live vocals, which will drag you into a whirlwind of intense feelings
and mental images. That’s where their name comes from, as they mix
strong feelings manifested in an uncontrollable way, mixing complex
emotions and sensations.
Dorian has had an extensive DJ career for more than 16 years, during
which he’s been resident of the mythical Club La Feria and has played
in the most important parties and festivals of Latin America, and he
has been working on music production for almost 8 years. He’s been
signed by important labels of the international electronic scene.
Galo, in turn, lived in New York, furthering his studies of Sound and
Music and playing with great success in different underground clubs of
that city, and participating with other musicians in the MNMLKTCHN
collective.
After his return he developed a concept that mixes his experience in
the USA and the influence of the local underground, which he called “I
Love Martech” , which is today the most consolidated party of the
Santiago underground.
This duo’s influences are Depeche Mode, Yazoo, Human League, Duran
Duran, Pet Shop Boys, Jean Michel Jarre and Radiohead, among others.
In their own words: “ We’ve started to work together from the common
interest of producing music that includes melodic lines that transmit
intense feelings and which transcend, that every track is a mental
trip or tells a story through the electronic sounds and the
intervention of vocals and analog instruments”.


VORAGINE 
Dúo conformado por Dorian Chavez y Galo Akún, quienes se conocen en la escena electrónica underground alrededor del año 2010.
Mezclan sonidos profundos e hipnóticos, con vocales en vivo de intensa suavidad y envolvencia, que te introducirán en un torbellino de intensos sentimientos e imágenes mentales. De ahí su nombre, pues mezclan sentimientos fuertes que se manifiestan de forma desenfrenada, mezclando complejas emociones y sensaciones.
Dorian posee una extensa trayectoria como Dj de mas de 16 años, durante los cuales fue residente del mítico Club La Feria y ha tocado en las fiestas y festivales mas importantes de Latinoamérica, dedicándose a la producción musical ya por casi 8 años. Es fichado por importantes sellos de la escena electrónica internacional.
Por su parte Galo, residió en New York, perfeccionando sus estudios de Sonido y Música y presentándose con gran éxito en distintos clubes underground de esa ciudad y participo junto a otros músicos en el colectivo MNMLKTCHN. 
A su regreso desarrolló un concepto mezcla de su experiencia en Estados Unidos y su influencia del underground nacional al que se denomino “I Love Martech” siendo hoy por hoy la fiesta más consolidada del “under” Santiaguino.
Las influencias de este dúo son Depeche Mode, Yazoo, Human League, Duran Duran, Pet Shop Boys, Michel Jarré y Radiohead entre otros.
En sus palabras: “Hemos comenzado a trabajar juntos a partir del inetrés común de producir música que incluya lineas melódicas que transmitan sentimientos intensos y que trasciendan, que cada tema sea un viaje mental o cuente una historia a través de los sonidos electrónicos y la intervención de voces e instrumentos análogos".
