Vortecs is the name for a german band, producing electronic House- and Trancemusic since 1994. Formerly a joint project between Fabian & Moritz Rossa and Sebastian Rölecke. Fabian left in the spring of 2012.
In the year 1997 Vortecs was chosen to MTV's Newcomers of the year.
Their debut single "Swaying ocean of life" was played by some big radio stations around the world (BBC Radio 1 for example).
From 1997 - 2003 they became one of the most booked DJ Teams in Germany.
From 2003 - 2009 (after the music market was changed) Vortecs produced only royalty free music for one of the biggest companies in this style - Gemafreie-Welten.
Since 2009 they are back on the dance market with some great projects. Producing phat Mixes for known Acts around Europe (Mario Lopez, Marc van Linden, Clubstone and so on).
In 2010 Vortecs has founded together with DJ Savannah the "Disco Riders".

Vortecs's music can be described as melodic-, progressive- and danceoriented (Pop keys, melancholic waves and catchy bass lines meets disco beats).

As a duo, the DJ's and producers made their names as residents at different clubs in Germany, playing a mixture of old and nu Disco, Electro, Trance, classic House & Balearic.
