A tribute to the director João César Monteiro, who in an interview carried out in 2000 uses the term 'Photophobia', as a possible explanation for his film Snow White.

After all, the fear of images may prompt us to explore other senses. The search for sound can take the place of the aversion to colors and create a new reality.

Second Woman is the collaborative project featuring Turk Dietrich of Belong and Joshua Eustis of Telefon Tel Aviv. 

Josh and Turk have been friends for over 17 years, having met in New Orleans in the late ’90s through mutual friend and future collaborator, Charlie Cooper. The duo have been working on music together on and off since that time.

The concept of Second Woman began with the idea of taking tropes from footwork, dub, house, and techno, and twisting these ideas into something kaleidoscopically liberated from the grid. 
Their work first materialized with two LP’s and an EP on John Elliott and Peter Rehberg’s Spectrum Spools. 

Second Woman tweak the perception of time and space within the audio field into something ASMR-inducing and ultimately satisfying to listen to. Both Josh and Turk experience ASMR in response to certain rhythms and sounds, and effort was made to incorporate these triggers into the music, hopefully for other people to experience as well. 

With Instant / Apart, Second Woman present their complete signature sound as well as a new, more measured dimension to their work.

The contribute of such macromolecules is of importance in the orchestration of non-cell autonomous developmental and physiological processes. 

In abstract terms, Plasmodesma represents an structure that allows the flow of different facts on each person daily life which provides essential nutrients, as hope, well being, sensation of peace an calmness .. esentially, parameters to convert negative situations into a positive situations, all under a dark threat context that life brings us on each moment. 

In Plasmodesma you will find mechanical rhythms, hypnotizing glitches and deep slow evolving textures, projected with a final purpose to represent the procedure.
