This Album was created during the long periods of the prevailing lockdowns due to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 and 2021.
For the first time since 2009 the individual tracks of this album were not recorded in live sessions between the two musicians, but thanks to the modern and digitized world, in a steady manner exchanged over distance. The pandemic seemed to push the project to a new level as they could not meet each other for a long time.

The 12 titles reflect the moods during this period and were finally fit together seamlessly to form a coherent album. All tracks fit together without any gap and if you play the (uncut version) of the album in loop, you could listen to it for hours without being bored if you like.

Dieses Album entstand während der langen Zeit der Lockdowns aufgrund der COVID-19-Pandemie in den Jahren 2020 und 2021.
Zum ersten Mal seit 2009 wurden die einzelnen Tracks dieses Albums nicht wie zuvor in Live-Sessions zwischen den beiden Musikern aufgenommen, sondern dank der modernen und digitalisierten Welt in einem stetigen Austausch über die Entfernung. VORTEX ELEMENTS is the Collaboration-Project of Sonic Chain & Chris Gate founded in 2003. Since 2009, the project has devoted itself to more traditional EM with a modern touch, which was initially created as studio sessions and then the finished tracks were arranged, giving them the right "flow".
The songs from this time were recorded on the album "Decennium Edition 2003-2013".
Since the Corona pandemic in 2020, the collaboration has shifted strongly to a way of working through a regular mutual exchange of projects via the web.
In this context, the album "Distance" was released in 2022.
The album "Wavement" was released in November 2024, characterized by strong ambient influences.

We are currently looking for partners who will move our music forward:
Labels, A&Rs, producers, etc., simply people with the right relationships.
