ADJ originates from and is based in London. 
He has been playing Underground Electronic Music for over 35 years as a DJ, starting in the days of Early Electro and Hip Hop. He has also been producing and releasing music for 25 years, releasing over 200 tracks in this time on a plethora of labels including Andrea Parker's Touchin Bass, For Those That Knoe, Another Perspective, Tensor Norm, Woodwork, Ai, Outside USA, Cultivated Electronics, Section 27, Yellow Machines, Crobot Muzik - Croatia (with Advent), Diffuse Reality,,Battery Park - Germany, Kidnapping Netlabel - Argentina, Interakt, Shameless Toady, District 6, Open Mind, Electro Compendium, Digital Distortions, Fundamental and has done remixes forFlint Kids, Scanone, Ed Chamberlain, Sync24,Lifecycle,LASynthesis,Carbinax,Nter, Carl Finlow, Fleck Esc, Dj Astrobee, Arsonist Recorder and Paul Hierophant.
He is due to release his Transmissions from the Pyramid album in the next few weeks on For Those That Knoe, an 8 track vinyl anthology of tracks from the last 2 decades and a 4 track 12' vinyl imminent on Another Perspective (Spain) 
During the 90's ADJ´s DJ sets were also getting media acclaim with Vice Magazine (1998) and Muzik Mag featuring London's top labels and DJs where he was featured in both categories.
Also during the 90's ADJ toured the US several times with the Outside Records crew and the ELM crew from LA and played for the famous Infiltrate parties, an anti Miami WMC event run by the Underground artists from Miami, including Phoenicia/Soul Oddity (Schematics, Warp), Otto Von Shirach, Richard Devine, Tipper/Crunch, 214 and European Electro Artist Anthony Rother. Around this time he was interviewed for 2 Documentaries about Electro Music in the US, Electro Djziska and Darkbeat, where he was credited with spreading the Nu Electro sound and dubbed 'The Worldwide Ambassador of Electro '.
 
He has run the Pyramid Transmissions Record label with label partner Pathic for 20 years and also ran the Analogique record label for 5 years from 1995-2000 releasing Techno, Electro and Electronica as 3 Elements.

As a DJ, he has played at many festivals including a BLOC residency, Glastonbury For BLOC, Bestival, Shambala, Infiltrate at WMC Miami. 2019 saw another tour of the US with Silicon Scally,Ben Milstein, EVAC, Ion Driver and 214. He also runs the Dodo Club and Frequency Resonate(with Errorbeauty) nights in London for the last 8 years as well as  playing in Lille, Kiev, Moscow, St Petersburg Berlin,Zagreb,Athens, Napoli, Brussels, Budapest, Vienna, Valencia, Sofia, Paris and played for the SKIZZE Crew/X-Ploration and also at Greismuhlle in Berlin, Barcelona (for CERCLE) and Valencia (with UMWELT) and organised a 24 hour Dodo Club Room at the unique Next Step Forward Festival in London celebrating 30 years of Dance MusicCulture.
ADJ also performed his first LIVE set in a few years in March 2020 @MUTABOR in Mosc
ADJ is currently working on several projects and has released vinyls on For Those That Knoe, Another Perspective, Tensor Norm in 2020/21 with forthcoming vinyl on Science Cult.  He has also released several remixes on Diffuse Reality, Specimen, Hierophant Dubs/Exaltin 2020/21.
Pyramid Transmissions have just also released a 40 track compilation with all artists involved with the label and parties for the last 21 years, a seminal album for lovers of Underground Electro/Electronica.
ADJ also releases the EARTHLINGS Compilations with Veronica Green, with whom he collaborates musicly under the name ORGANISM, raising funds for World Animal Protection through 70 track compilations from some of the best underground electronic artists from around the world.

Our next podcast takes us for the very first time to the Belarussian capital to meet Valeria Buturlya. An artist who started in the music universe at an early age through choreographing, and after 15 years of stage dancing, she broke into the electronic music scene playing breakbeat and electro under the name of Tendresse Rage (@tendresserage). That background has a noteworthy impact on her conceptualization of music being her mixes remarkably kinetic, physical, and overall ideal for the dancefloor. This N2MU 45th podcast is an electro journey that offers a variety of approaches to the genre, from more delicate perspectives and melodic passages to a far more robotic view full of vocoders elegantly progressing to a  much darker and powerful spectrum. A music producer since 2 decades, a vinyl DJ since 1 decade and a record shop owner since 3 years, Robyrt Hecht from Leipzig, Germany has touched on almost every aspect of the underground electronic music scene. Besides his label YUYAY Records and his involvement in the now defunct label and record shop Possblthings, he is founding member of Electro label and event crew Clear Memory. Additionally he co-founded the record shop Sleeve++. He's specialised in emotive Electro and IDM/Electronica with a bunch of robotic Funk added to the mix.

For our podcast he decided not to do a DJ mix, but instead he compiled a few of his unreleased tunes, dug up from old harddrives and polished them up for you to discover and enjoy.

Which artists has influenced you the most?

- Too many to make a concise list, but to name a few: Nachtzug, James Stinson, Mad Mike, DMX Krew, Dynarec, Dave Monolith ...

What new projects/releases with your participation are expected in the near future?

- As always, several collaboration tracks on Clear Memory are in the pipeline. Also another track on Hilltown Disco.

Which artists/labels is more relevant to you now?

- I’m generally more interested in the past than the present, and I listen to most contemporary records after a while, because only then can you hear whether it's relevant or just a fad. But here, for example: I discovered the incredible work of Shook last year; the LP 'System' (EPI 018) is the perfect Future-Funk experience. Also Cygnus never disappoints.

What inspires you now to create music?

- Definitely working with my Clear Memory colleagues. We're a group of about a dozen people, half of whom are producers. Visiting their studios, working together on tracks and learning from each other is deeply inspiring.

What set-up do you use when creating music?

- I’m using a setup, which hasn't changed in probably a decade: Hardware as sound sources (Roland Alpha Juno-1, Korg MS-20, Doepfer MS404, MAM MB33, MAM VF-11 Vocoder, Yamaha E1010 Delay, …) and as a DAW I use Bitwig for composition, arrangements, FX and mixdown.

Strange But Dance Music #104: Robyrt Hecht

Flight destination is The Tarantula Nebula is a large star-forming region of ionized hydrogen gas that lies 161,000 light-years from Earth in the Large Magellanic Cloud, and its turbulent clouds of gas and dust appear to swirl between the region’s bright, newly formed stars. The nebula owes its name to the arrangement of its bright patches that somewhat resemble the legs of a tarantula. Taking the name of one of the biggest spiders on Earth is very fitting in view of the gigantic proportions of this celestial nebula — it measures nearly 1,000 light years across ! Its proximity, the favourable inclination of the LMC, and the absence of intervening dust make this nebula one of the best laboratories to better understand the formation of massive stars. This spectacular nebula is energised by an exceptionally high concentration of massive stars, often referred to as super star clusters.

It took only one time seeing Anthony Rother perform live for Mr. Dillinger to become completely obsessed with the idea of playing to a crowd without turntables (it was on a DVD and not even in-person: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y5x8Rmd71Ro). He’d seen many live acts before as a student of the underground in Detroit and was already a DJ at the time, but something about seeing Rother’s mystique switched on a light that could not be turned off. That idea took nearly 14 years to become reality, but he finally unveils his first ever live PA exclusively for @DarkScienceElectro. 

Starting as an Electro/breaks DJ in 2000, and then continuing into production in 2010 he has finally started to find his stride this year. Francois Dillinger’s 2019 releases appear on @elektrodos, @blindallies, @naturalsciences, @ukonx, @dionysian-mysteries, and a full-length album on @narrowgauge. 2020 already has a slew of releases scheduled, including a second full-length album.
