cooperation between peter kutin , flo kindlinger and christina kubisch; all sounds are based on electromagnetic & field-recordings done in las vegas in jan. 2015; raw field-recordings - arranged and composed by peter kutin; 
the piece is part of the decomposition trilogy.

ILLUSION - 2016

The fourth in the label series this month comes from French Eilean rec. 
The mix includes 18 music artists from the first year of the label.
The label is based on a map with 100 points. Each point is associated to a number. Each number to a release.
Eilean rec. is a non-profit and independent French label focused mainly on electronic &  electro-acoustic. The label is not closed to some unpredictable works and has the will to change the borders about what's means electronic. 
The label is run by Mathias Van Eecloo (Monolyth & Cobalt) and Rémi Verdier for the design part with the lovely help of Sarah. 
They released some unique limited edition between 90 to 200 handmade copies sealed and numbered.

**Production Notes**

No, it wasn’t easy. First I tried to play along with some FM bell synth, but this led to nowhere. So I just used the sample itself. Extracted some bells from the background noise, added several Beat Repeats, Expert Sleepers Meringue and some Reaktor Molekular.

0515 Disquiet Junto 178 Missa

a mashup or "a synthesis" of Marc Weidenbaum's piece for disquiet 0189 ("Six-String Buddha")and mine ("Sediment Layers")
Marc's piece is processed via my modular synth: Make Noise FxdF and RXMX into Mutable Instruments Clouds Parasite and looped once. Some reverb was added in Ableton Live.

A Disquieting Synthesis

A remix of Marc Weidenbaum's "Six String Buddha", which he recorded for disquiet 0189.

We've taken Marc's track and loaded it onto two Radio Music modules. One is looping the entire track, and run through an Intellijel Springy reverb module. The other is playing a short section of the track, with the reset being triggered rhythmically by a Korg SQ-1 sequencer. The bass drum is from a Peaks module, synced to the SQ-1 via a Pamela's Workout clock divider.
