First conceived following a night of heavy drinking, Downstricken is about a rough experience after a lengthy battle of drug abuse. A metaphorical, yet deeply poetic song with hard hitting lyrics and killer riffs.

The 'Girl from my Nightmare' encompasses all of them. All of the women that make your knees weak, and guarantee some spectacularly poor decisions on our part. Most guys can relate to seeing a chick for the time, and thinking something along the lines of : "I would go a week in the desert crawling naked on broken glass just to..." well, you get the idea.

Deep inside us all is an overwhelming sense of power and urge to grab life by the throat and take control of where it leads you, unfortunately for some, those feelings are masked and kept dormant by the overpowering battles against mental illness plaguing our society. We have stepped forward take a stance against our inner demons and prove there’s light at the end of those struggles.

Our debut Call To Arms EP takes aim at the different conflicts humanity are bombarded with on a daily basis, whether it be addiction, religion, depression, isolation and relationships just to name a few, they’re all contributing factors for the downfall of mankind
