Drum and Bass, Breakbeat, Jungle, and Halftime are some of the landscapes explored in this release, blending elegance, eclecticism, and potential for dancefloor impact, with a unique identity and a coherence that represents the label across all four tracks.

Sonora Destroy Records presents HYBRID PULSE 2, the second volume in its
compilation series exploring the hybrid edges of contemporary club music.

This new edition brings together twelve forward-thinking producers from across
the globe — from Colombia, Venezuela, and the United States to India, Australia,
Portugal, and the Netherlands — to form a sonic map where mutant bass,
polyrhythmic techno, twisted breaks, and futuristic club energy all converge.

The lineup includes Cagua, Lucid Distraction, Frenquency, Bone Box, arni, Cacumen,
Fourtwenty Sound, Paula Velez, Myledo, Bønehead, JUNЖIES, and Mijok. Each artist
contributes a unique take on rhythm and sound design, resulting in a wide-ranging
compilation that moves between high-impact club tracks and more abstract,
leftfield explorations.

The visual identity of the release was created by KAYU, whose symbolic and layered
artwork sets the tone for the compilation’s sonic world. In addition, the limited
vinyl edition features a custom augmented reality experience designed by Muluc
Visual Lab, turning the physical record into an interactive object that blurs the line
between sound, art and digital craft.

HYBRID PULSE 2 will be released on October 2, digitally and on 12” limited vinyl. A
special launch event will take place in Bogotá on October 11, featuring performances
by some of the artists involved.

Our first London event of 2019 celebrates the release of Paragon’s Iris LP which features collaborations with a slew of Tech Itch artists including DJ E, Voyage, Code 906, Indidjinous & Zigril as well as label newcomers Cypher & Furious. 

The notorious Source Direct is returning for his second appearance at Rolling Stock promising another jolt of his frenetic, dark energy. Fresh off his infectious Frontiers EP on DSCI4, Cypher can be counted on to deliver an invasion of 90’s era-inspired evil tech rollers. 

Armed with dubs from the depths, Danger Chamber label boss Y2 will be gracing the decks as well, backed up by veteran techstepper Operator and resident support from the man known as Structure.

Born in Bow, East London, raised in Forest Gate / Stratford - I started on Commodore 16 / 64 and Spectrum 128K computers in the 1980s, teaching myself basic programming and making my first sounds. Alongside everyday listening — breakdance (1986), acid house (1989), UK hardcore (1991), drum & bass (1992), jungle (1994), and into darker DnB  Tech Step through 1997–2030. I learned to DJ in 1993 and became involved with London pirate radio from 1994 onward, broadcasting across London on Underground FM, Pressure FM, Raw FM, Conflict FM, Rude FM, and Weekend Rush FM, as other aliases 205 - APEX - Ulterior Motive - Voyage - continuing to the present day with the Biotech Radio show (available on YouTube). New music inbound.
