It’s no secret that 'A Faint Glow of Bravery' was born out of experimentation. “I was finally able to harness my technical ability to express ideas entirely by feel” says gyrofield, as she looks back on a huge year both personally and musically.

Preparing for the release of her most expansive project yet, gyrofield can only talk proudly of what we are sure will surprise and satisfy fans new and old. Whilst there is a slight departure from what you might call traditional drum and bass, the tempos remain recognisable and gyrofield’s own personal measure of quality gets even higher.

From the emotionally charged experiment in breakbeats that is ‘Gossamer’ and the doom-laden low-end weight of ‘French Grey’ this is a 7-track collection that explores some of gyrofield’s deepest and most intimate thoughts.
