Leaving a group and transitioning to a solo artiste, while still surviving the obstacles is a remarkable achievement for any artiste.

You might remember Dann-I from the popular boy group Q. They competed and claimed the fifth place spot in the 2005 season of Digicel Rising Stars.

Nine years after, he has managed to maintain himself as figure in the entertainment industry. Though still fairly new in the industry, Dann-I has gained solo recognition through his chart-topping hits such as Uncle Come and Time. For this reason, he has proven himself to be a force to be reckoned with in the music industry.

Born Damarah Danni, Dann-I is managed by Sonny Spoon, the main man behind I-Wayne's success. And he hopes to leave his own mark as an important figure in the music industry.

Fortunately for him, this year he was given the opportunity to grace the Rebel Salute and Reggae Sumfest stages. In addition, he is confirmed to perform at this year's Sting in December.

"Music, to me, is like a super power that heals and move a nation. For this i am happy for the opportunity to contribute to this through my music."

A past student of the St Jago High, Dann-I told Press Record that he loves to farm. So, when he is not doing music, you will see him farming in Hampton Green, Spanish Town, his hometown, with friends.

Dann-I - Thinking Out Loud [Sons Of Spoon Music / VPAL Music 2015]

Rampalion is a musical band of roots rock reggae hailing from sunny Barcelona Spain and they are a real force of conscience autobiographical songs of love, fight & freedom.
The band are a collective made up of Juan Escribano the bands lead singer and songwriter who also contributes some of the instrumentation to the Rampalion recordings and Barcelona's famous reggae backing band Freedom Street Band who have provided a musical background in Spain for some of Jamaica's greatest artists: Alton Ellis, Derrick Morgan, Ken Boothe, Tippa Irie, Heptones, Bitty Mclean, Dr. Ring Ding, Hermano L, Morodo, Swan Fyahbwoy and Ben Jammin' plus others.

The autenthicity of Rampalion's sound is clearly shown in songs like  My generation, Roots and ¨Crisis¨ a collaboration that was recorded in Jamaica's Anchor studio with the Firehouse Crew, Bongo Herman & Everol Wray, true iconic figures within jamaica's rich musical heritage. 
Currently on tour with support slots for The Wailers and an appearance at Europe's biggest Reggae festival Rototom Sunsplash,  Rampalion are also in the studio putting the finishing touches to their new album project "INSIDE THE KETE HEART" 

The band are now in rehearsals for a European tour which will start summer 2015.
