140 Budapest began as a Facebook group in 2016, created to unite local fans of dubstep. The community quickly grew, with well-known producers and emerging talents rising from its ranks, inspiring the idea to showcase this music through an official project. The first compilation dropped in 2020, and from there, we’ve continued to evolve.

Fast-forward to 2024 and the second compilation is set to drop on November 15! We’re thrilled to share that every part of this community-driven project—animations, album artwork, T-shirt designs—was crafted by group members themselves.

The 140BUDAPEST VOL 2 compilation presents tracks from eight artists, each capturing the essence of the original dubstep: growling basslines, deep and meditative rhythms, and tribal-infused elements!
