Stunned silence filled the metallic halls of the testing grounds in the moments after which a single subatomic particle had ripped through a once-fundamental law of the universe. Within the circuitous track of the cyclotron, an eerie void hung suspended in midair along the particle’s path and seemed to glow and withdraw light from the room all at once. As he recovered from his moment of awe, the single human inhabitant of the testing grounds shouted with glee and pressed his eyes against the glass of the viewing platform, peering forth into the rift that lay open before him.

Seemingly in response to the scientist’s observation, the rift began to glow yet brighter with an entrancing emerald hue. Its shape became distorted, shrinking and contorting down to a zero-point before rebounding outwards again and opening into a wide, ovoid shape. The rift sliced effortlessly through the cyclotron as it expanded, causing the matter of which it was constructed to simply disappear upon contact. As its expansion halted the rift then compressed slightly, stabilizing itself into a perfect two-dimensional circle that floated inexorably within three-dimensional space. 

At this point, the emerald-hued circumference of the rift then began to pulsate with accelerating frequency. As the period of this cycle decreased, the scientist began to catch glimpses of something on the other side, a multifaceted mirage of a distant world that was refracted through the rift’s space-time distortion. As he attempted to make sense of the vision before him, the rift emitted a blinding flash that knocked the scientist to his knees and cast him away from the glass of the viewing platform’s walls. When his vision returned, before him loomed a trio of incomprehensible figures that seemed to shift the very essence of their own beings to more closely match his own. For the first time in his life, the scientist knelt before beings from another world, and in the presence of their shifting forms, one thing became eminently clear to him. No biological lifeform could traverse the energies of that rift and survive, and thus it was that the scientist came to the realization that he knelt before alien gods.

With CYCLOTRON, LIVEON reveals the radical discoveries of his sonic experimentation, which ensure that the tracks within the EP are sure to leave a singular imprint on the ears of listeners worldwide.

Having appeared on numerous D&B tracks over the past few years on labels like V Recordings, Shogun, Jazzsticks and more as a featured artist T.R.A.C. is no stranger to the studio, and his lyrical finesse shines through on this funk filled roller. Linking up with the heavenly Adrienne Richards on vocals, and US liquid legend Random Movement on production 'Step Tune' delivers on all fronts, and sets the bar high for the album to follow later this year.

About T.R.A.C.When it comes to Hip Hop, New York is home to many great MC's and artists of all genres. Anyone who has ever visited the borough of Brooklyn will have seen its wide mix of cultures, ethnicities, and renowned musicians living within some of the most historic neighbourhoods in the world. Perseverance is an often use word to describe a person overcoming their struggles. A battle conquered a day. In today’s music world - while all the glitz and glamour can be rewarding for some dedicated striving artists, too many don’t maintain longevity and are quickly forgotten. Yet in the middle of it all are those few who stay patient, true to themselves, and focused on their respective musical pursuits. Brooklyn’s own NYC underground artist, T.R.A.C., has climbed to new heights throughout his years of experience in both Hip Hop and Drum and Bass. A masterful wordsmith, his talents are proven in his work with legendary producers such as Marc Mac (4hero) and Lewis Parker(UK). As an MC, he’s rocked stages with names like LTJ Bukem, Roni Size, and Goldie  to name a few from the lengthy (and growing) list of A class DJs. Recognized internationally throughout his career in the Drum and Bass scene as a premiere stateside born MC with the roots of a talented Hip Hop artist.
Featured on a slew of Lewis Parker projects, T.R.A.C. released his BBE debut Hip Hop effort, “The Network”, in 2011. The album was produced by legendary 4hero artist Marc Mac, and received underground critical acclaim, along with 6 star rating from OE magazine. T.R.A.C.’s sound is described as bluesy, soulful, easy listening, yet still Hip Hop.
Already respected in the world of Drum and Bass, T.R.A.C. has recently garnered even more attention via a plethora of well-received releases with respected labels. His work with Shogun LTD. Jazzsticks (Paul SG), Intrigue Music (Ben Soundscape), and V recordings are notable within the genre. Tunes like “The Partys Arrived” (Dave Owens), and the now classic “Higher Ground”(Submorphics), have elevated the artist to a higher platform and created much anticipation for his debut DnB album with V boss Bryan Gee. After recent release of “the V singles” compilation, an energetic buzz is rising and T.R.A.C.’s time has come to shine. 2017 is shaping up to be an amazing run for this talent.
