After his highly successful ‘Pagans’ EP on V Recordings late last year, Need For Mirrors follows suit with his new offering, the ‘Slaves Of Empire’ EP.
With a politically charged vocal hook and sub low bass, ‘Slaves Of Empire’ keeps the spirit of ‘Pagans’ but mutates it into something new. 
His experimental and innovative ways become even more obvious when moving through the other three tracks. All feature spoken word vocals and each hold a unique sound to accompany the ever-present NFM weight. The EP then moves from the heavy hitting techno influenced ‘Prayer Hands’ & ‘Common Sense’, to the glockenspiel stepper ‘Select’.
It comes as no surprise that a glance at NFM’s catalogue reveals releases from the likes of Metalheadz, Symmetry, Playaz, Spearhead, Zoltar and more. With a constant string of boundary pushing production and dancefloor slammers, NFM has certainly carved a space for himself within the world of D&B.
