Vrika es el alias bajo el que trabaja Fernando Blanco en su forma más rítmica. Su sonido es una mezcla de estilos que cabalgan entre el ambient/drone y el techno/dub. Su elaboración de forma analógica y en directo, le confiere una estética característica, cruda, sucia y orgánica. Una estética que extiende a su imagen y presentación.

Actualmente su trabajo se publica bajo el sello español Doppt Zykkler Series donde sacará próximente un nuevo ep. Anteriormente ha realizado trabajos junto a otros artistas como Victor Aguado ( Rerrr ) y diversas incursiones en performances en directo.

Para Trauma nos ofrece un podcast de ambient lleno de paisajes oniricos. Un sueño plagado de luces y sombras, que contiene varios tracks de material inedito. Disfruten del viaje.

El pasado 19 de octubre @Vrika ,  alias bajo el que trabaja Fernando Blanco, registró un fragmento de su paso por DANCE CAVE. Su sonido cabalga entre el techno con cadencia dub y las texturas próximas al ambient y el drone. Fernando también es miembro del trío de techno chamánico @rrvvdd y componente de nuestro proyecto CALMA.

Vrika is the moniker under the Spanish producer Fernando Blanco. 
His music is a mixture of hypnotic rhythms, ambient soundscapes and organic textures, with a tribal output. 
Starting from techno and moving into different subgenres, he has released music on PhonoTropismi, Doppt Zykler and other underground labels.
Recently founded the project RVD, alongside Discknoked and Randoom, focused on slow techno and live improvisations. 
He is also part of the CALMA collective, dedicated to programming ambient and electronic music events in Madrid.

"Ancient Rituals" represents his personal take on the most primitive rhythms and soundscapes, taking the listener into a trance state.
