It’s About Us’ is a track I made which is dedicated to the launch of my new event concept: USS. The lyrics that you hear in the track represent what I’m aiming for with the concept of the event. I’d really to make sure that the collective of people attending our events will be the main focus and centre of everything, not necessarily the artist who is performing at that moment. The decisions we will make for our event - from stage design to lighting and other details - are all made with the idea of making sure the experience is more important than one single individual. This is how the event took shape, and this is also the core inspiration I had for this track. In my mind I could play this at the very start of my sets, in particular at The Roundhouse on Feb 1st. It’s soulful, and it has a message with a meaning for me to kick off this new chapter in my career. I can’t wait to play it there.
