Thank you 💁🏼‍♀️Michaela for helping me out with this duet❤️ When I heard this song, I thought that it would be an interesting idea to turn it into a duet, to mimic a couple singing together. 💑 I also imagined it to be a Reggae vibe because the original production has a 2/4 stabs to it which to me hinted a Reggae sound. So I decided to pull it all the way to it and see how it sound. Well it turn out just the way I wanted.☺️ I am very happy to have this duet with Michaela and I can’t wait to do more when she visits Hong Kong!

My first Canton-pop cover :) I’ve been back in Hong Kong for a year now, and I feel like I should be uploading more Canton-pop covers. As much as I love Electro Pop and R&B, Canton-pop is also a part of my life. I always listen to Canton-pop whenever I have the chance to, and I still love how they play with melody and deep lyrics.

The original artist of this cover is Robynn&Kendy. I love singer-songwriters like them in Hong Kong because it’s not a very common type of artist in here, as a songwriter myself, I often find their songs filled with raw emotions and this kind of mindset is what I think the world needs more.

When I first heard of this song I actually didn’t like it; I thought it was too commercial. But when I get to sit down and look at the lyrics it start to grow on me. It’s about (me) not being able to start a new relationship with my new BF because I still miss my ex. This song has a very powerful imagine and I’m happy to say that my partner @philipp_lykostratis animated what’s in my mind perfectly!

Finally, this song took me forever to produce because I waited for all the instrumentalists to send me their stems Haha. The guitar solo was very complicated to comp so I made sure I took my sweet time with it. When I first heard this song I really love that latino flavor in it and I really wanted to extend it, so I kinda made this funky latino vibe beat and I really like how it comes together with my voice :) Please be sure to enjoy the efforts of the harps, guitar, bass, keys. They sounded amazing together and I really did have a lot of fun working on this project!
