Gus Heavy @ Esoteric 2024 (Without MC)

This is my set from 1pm Saturday.  

At one point there was a huge cheer and I was like .. "I didn't do anything" peering out in to the crowd I see a bloke on a ladder has just fixed the sprinklers at the front of the D <3  Mad props to that guy, and all the D-floor damagers braving 40 degree heat to send it with me.

Immensely grateful to to the Snakepit and Lost Lagoon crews for getting me down to play the Snakepit, and to everyone involved in Esoteric - it's a most fantastic festival, incredibly well put together with so much love, care and attention to detail.

I had an incredible time playing this set, hope you enjoy listening to it :)

My set recorded live from Eye in the Sky doof recently.  I had Peter Pascoe on Didgereedoo who did an amazing job, I was  the most talkative on the mic I have ever been at a live set and a few random people were jumping on the mic as it was a loose boiler room style set with lots of people on stage!.... but unfortunately the mic was plugged into the mixer seperate to the decks which was a shame because none of that got recorded!!! :(
oohhh well I had a lot of fun playing this set, it was a vibe!!!

Eye In The Sky

Earth Frequency Festival 2024 was a special one for us.  Our upcoming EP is called Pure Intent, and represents the duality of light and dark in a way that we both feel on a daily basis.

As artists, creating music and sharing it to an audience is a vulnerable and challenging thing to do.  You want people to love it, to dance to it, and to understand it, but you also need to genuinely connect through your own creative process.

This year's set at Earth Frequency took months to create, trying to represent our constant dichotomous balance between the light and dark that bonded us two as artists, and allows us to express ourselves.
