Traced is now synonymous with the Neurofunk sound with a massive back catalogue of music on some of the most prolific labels pushing the sound to your ears such as TrendKill, Close 2 Death & Cause 4 Concern.

The first track of the release doesn’t waste any time getting into what you can expect. 

takes us back to Traced’s roots with an evil stab, bass & driving chords accompanied by the Paradox vocal sample.

The first drop of this is huge, A favourite of the very few that currently have this spinning it already but most certainly putting Pardox up there in talks as one of the best Neurofunk tracks of the year so far.

“Deep Vision”
Our second track of the EP “Deep Vision” Is starting off with an uplifting riff building up into a female vocal.

It slips into a complete different direction on the drop with a nasty bass accompanied by a Trance riff that both complement each other in amazing fashion This brings you into the huge breakdown where you get to hear the huge chords echoing around your speakers
as it eases down and into a relaxing state.

This doesn’t last long of course as the second drop has more of the first but with a lot more to take in with Traced’s signature Neuro beats.

Its the second year of VTO Records and to cap off what has been for us an amazing 2022 of growth, development, Learning and most of all enjoyment in bringing some of the biggest and best Neurofunk
Drum & Bass music the world has to offer we thought what what fitting way could we end the year than with an unexpected bonus release for everything that includes not 1, but 2 huge remixes we have been hiding for a while alongside a brand spanking new VIP that was until now unheard.

The very 1st VTO release from back in 2021 has been given the green light to be torn limb from limb and devoured by not 1, 2 hugely popular acts on the circuit.

Then to top this off Traced has brought in a classic track of his that's been given the VIP treatment.

“Paradox (Prdk Remix)”
We start the EP with this deeply haunting and disturbingly filthy remix of Traced’s `Paradox` track from the very first VTO Release.

On duties for this is none other than the amazing producer, all the way from the Czech Republic. Prdk.

Some hugely technical elements fill out the track. 

The zapping stabs and effects drive the track through and now it includes a huge half time beat after the main drop to take the track into a whole other direction. It's relentless. Its brilliant. It's a full on
Neuro slapper.

For the 2nd Remix we welcome back a due from early in the labels releases. The Dutch duo themselves. Anwer & Kapser aka `Binary``
In their rejig of one of Traced's biggest masterpieces they use the vocal and melody intertwined with their huge basslines and synths to create an even more epic hands, in the air moment with the breakdown. It's almost deceiving how tranquil and perfect the drop is until it's twisted on its head with even more brain melting twisted Neuro sounds alongside a visceral kick and clap to get your chest
rumbling even if you’re stood right at the back of the club.

“Here To Invade (VIP Mix)”
Back in 2019 long before the conception of VTO Records with Lee UHF, Traced dropped a huge Neurofunk number for free on his social media.

The internet went absolutely nuts for it and since then some kind of remix or VIP was always going to be on the cards.

Well especially for this release we have now finally got Traced to do that. And it was well worth the wait.

Rumbling basslines, rushy synths and the ever present and popular vocal puts us in the position of bringing you yet another heat seeking missile for the USB stick or even to just play for yourself in the gym.

Either way if this is to get the crowd fired up or you. It does the job.

Rolling into 2023 like a flying Delorean, we start the year with the grand unveiling of our 1st ever compilation album.

Over the past few months we have been pondering how to go about this with one aim in mind. How do we showcase the very best of what we have done the
past few years while also giving you a taster of the future?

The answer well we literally could not leave a single track or release out, as there was just way too much original music we have thrown out into the
Neurofunk `Slappersphere` to even contemplate missing just 1 track that has graced the labels catalogue.

So here it is, every single track from the Almighty Beast right up to the latest dancefloor destroying Here 2 Invade. and everything in between with some of the most talented and inspirational producers from around the world we have had the pleasure to work with, such as Resurgence, Mbee, Scalez, Kaizen Flow, Surgence, Binary, Transforma and of course the co-owner of the label Traced.

As if that was not enough, 3 newer talents that we had discovered In 2022 make their debut on the label before we see them all release individually in the near future.

We introduce to you, UK artists `Bad Ace` & `The Fi5th` and our first Northern Ireland producer onboard with us `Avoider` who more recently has come off 2 huge back to back releases on Dirtbox Recordings & Abducted in the past few months.

`Bad Ace drops one of the hardest and nastiest Neuro tracks to date on the label. “Reign” The hieroglyphical and egyptian sounds echo throughout a building of drums and bass on this one. Enough to shake any pyramid to its
core. and crumble any mummy to dust. Its about time we brought some balls to wall slappers for you lot and this does not disappoint.

`The Fi5th` debuts with a very funky number thats been doing the sounds.
“Jump Funk” this one takes so many musical elements from multiple genres its hard to pin point what will happen next. But you can be assured this little groover takes you straight to the dancefloor every time its heard.

And finally `Avoider` brings out a track with a hugely fitting name `Piston` which sounds as though it would literally power a car itself let alone a whole rave full of gurning Neuro lovers. Avoider has a very eclectic sound so much different than anyone else and we love it because it crosses over so well
from Neuro to almost every other style of DNB you want it to fit with.

A name we thought only fitting to give this humongous project could only be “Chapter I” . It's our first instalment of our history and one we will be building on for many years to come. Its a story of the punk side of Drum & Bass and what both Lee UHF & Traced see in terms of a vision of what a story within Neurofunk should sound like.

History will be made March 1st 2023 Chapter I opens.

Jump Funk

`Cyntax` or Ollie Kaye (to his friends and family) is a name you may be familiar with if you have heard of this little underground sound we call `Neurofunk`

Hailing from Essex, UK and coming from a background of music, Ollie was playing instruments regularly like the Piano, guitar and trumpet before taking his first leap into session music by recording his own songs at home in his bedroom that were a little on the questionable side to say the least.

It wasn't until attending University in Bristol that he discovered the sounds of drum and bass, starting with Jump Up and then being drawn into the darkside once discovering the likes of Eatbrain at the Qube Project in London.

As with most stories like this, a natural progression into Djing soon brought him full circle and producing music again but this time fully digital, and engrossed himself in sound design to discover his sound.

Now what you would expect next when reading this is a long, arduous 10 years of producing music, some questionable early tracks on labels you might not have ever heard of.

Not in this case. Cyntax had his first release hit some of the biggest labels putting out Neurofunk right from the get go, His early years of music has paid dividends as 2017 saw his debut on the mighty `Kill Tomorrow` label following this up with tracks on `Korsakov`, `High Resistance`, `Neurofunk, What Else?` and the huge `Blackout Music` which in most opinions is one of the top Neurofunk labels ever to release.

Reaching a pinnacle label so quick was not easy by any feet, but also did not leave Cyntax wondering what to do next, as he followed these up by winning a remix competition on Zombie Cats and another pinnacle label release on the mighty Eatbrain in 2022.

As we ride the wave of success right into 2023 it is with great pleasure VTO Records introduce Cyntax to our stable and his first release of 2023.

Cyntax- “Your Time Is Now”

We start this release with one of the most talked about dubplates of 2022 in the Neurofunk world, It's finally here.

This one was performed at last year’s `Let It Roll` festival during the Zombie Cats set and caused quite a stir and it's finally here for you all to get your teeth into.

An eerie but haunting movie-esque intro starts this one sounding like it came right out of a DC movie when the bad guys are about to beat down Bruce Wayne.

Its almost silent as we stop for the first drop. Drum Solo and Cyberpunk synths show off Cyntaxs music background with a huge lightning bolt of sonics taking us right into the next section in a huge way.

A robotic but evil vocal snippet lets you know “Your time is now” as the onslaught never lets up with this superb routine on display right from the Cyntax studio.

Be wanted if you haven't heard the second drop. Make sure you’re sitting for this one. 

Cyntax- “Darkness Surrounding”

We round the EP off with yet another huge Cyntax dub that people have been clambering to get hold of for the past year.

Kicking things off we get a little groovy, A little warpy and a lotta funky.
Our vocalist takes the lead on this one before the epic build to take us to a grinding halt and a huge wallowing bass slap.

The galloping percussion and drums throughout this one has that super dancefloor feel but the contrast in the bass makes you feel the `hard as nails` sound right throughout your body.

A huge release for us at VTO and taking us right into the QTR mark of the year with exceptional talent during potentially one of his last ever DNB releases.

It's business as usual for TRCD as we welcome in a new beginning for the co-owner of the label and a brand new EP.
Vector starts us off with a build up of militant like
drums and a slithering but haunting lead synth that accompanies a few nice little junglist type cuts and drops leading us into the awesome breakdown and a build with a “Blink and you`ll miss it” gabber lead in with all bass filtered out that lets us enjoy the full on Neurofunking that awaits.

“TRCD & Bad Ace- Im Alive”

TRCD brings along another Surrey Native for the second track, A collaboration with long time friend Bad Ace, Who is hot off his debut on the label earlier this year with “Reign” that featured on the Chapter I LP.

An emotional start to build this one up that echo’s both styles of the 2 artists giving it a true collaborative feel.

A much deeper tone invokes this time, with some freeform-esque lead synths and cosmic sounds that flurry into a drop that never stops with its emotion and energy.

“TRCD- Reaction Time”

We close out this stunning EP of music with a classic TRCD style and sound that has attached itself to his name for the past few years.

Instantly recognisable riffs and vocals in the way TRCD knows how to entwine them in the best way.

This of course leads to the bubbling Acid frenzy of the drop that takes you into an intense pad led drop and more of your Grade A Neurofunk TRCD Nan Slappery.

A new year dawns on us 2024 is in full swing. and we are happy to announce our first release of the year. Kicking off in style with the production duo of MV & Bobby.

We first heard this duo from their huge track “We Are Monsters” On Kosen Productions and felt as a Neuro label we needed to snap up a release with them ASAP.

A resounding `Yes` came from the duo who are better known to their family and friends as Edouard & Moisés. And came next we could never have been ready for.

A stellar and strong 2 track EP focusing more on the party vibe of Neurofunk while still breaking necks with that glistening edgy bass sound and uncompromising forceful nature Neurofunk is loved for.

MV & Bobby bring a quality like no other to any label they release with and this outing is no exception with a brutal G-force of sounds set to blow you into the Neuro-sphere and beyond.

We start the show bringing back some classic elements of the genre we know and love.

A haunting, benevolent synth builds the first few bars into a cascade of movie score-esque drums that lead into a deep dark drop with a riff taking you back to 90s Zombie flicks and eerie twilight zone episodes.

More, More and MORE of this multiplies throughout the track taking you on a soundscape journey into almost a classic monster movie type soundtrack, never easing up to drain you of every last drop of energy, consuming this mass of monster beats.

2/ “MV & Bobby- Dance With Us”

A beautiful chord leads the way into the start of this track with a complete turn on its head of 4/4 beats taking you to the drop.

The drop again twists you all the way back around with screeching leads and an epic bass battle full of surprises. Distorted Guitars, Piano’s and stabs to leave you looking every which way but loose until your head falls off your shoulders.

In the year 3043 The human brain has been replaced by cybernetic organisms linked through computers of the mothership Raid.

Raid, now in its 400th year, on what is formerly planet earth has been feeding from the human body in this way ever since its fatal promise to make us humans live forever, but that never happened.
What did happen was a hostile takeover of all mankind and the planet itself.

Crops and food sources were destroyed. Factories for technology were obliterated and all that remained was `The Raid` leaving the entire population with only 2 choices creating a time to panic.
Die of starvation or connect themselves to the main server for Raid to feed on.

In all these years there has never been hope.. until now.
A small group of Drum and Bass producers hold the key to destroy the raid. They are known as The Unsettling and their onslaught of hybrid DNB genres lead the way to freeing the human mind and destroying the Raid forever.

1/ L3MMY DUBZ “Time To Panic”

We kick start this mammoth EP crossing sub genres and clashing styles with one of the best in the business to attempt this.

From the North of the UK, L3MMY Dubz has been making a huge name for himself with his physical and traumatizing Belgian Jump Up sound.

With “Time To Panic” he crosses all boundaries and merges this with a neurofunk style giving it an additional level of groove and grittiness unlike any other.

2/ L3MMY DUBZ “Raid”

A truly fun track, A selection of pitch bending Strings that could easily put you into a Ketamine like state of mind altering wobble funk.

Synth work and kicks slash through the air on this one as it takes you deeper and deeper into a vast state of awareness of each individual sound, full of teases and alternative directions to drags you through right until its very last bar.

3/ L3MMY DUBZ “The Unsettling”

A quick shift in direction with this one. Tubular sounds and echo’s of every synth start this one off with a futuristic alien movie build fit for an Alien Horror Sci-fi. 

A truly unsettling vocal leads the way into a punch kick to the kidneys on the drop with vomit inducing bass stabs and snares.

If the first 3 tracks were not enough then this one will
really tip you over the edge, Finishing off with Grade A prime Neurofunk and easily the most fun remix we have ever heard from a track of another genre, to be twisted into Neurofunk.

Distorted drums and face splitting bass lead into the drop where it is as expected from the enigmatic TRCD who drops his first Remix duties on VTO Records and most definitely not the last.

Its been 15 years since our hero’s lead the battle against the cybernetic organism known as the Raid, and while they were successful in an attempt to damage its outer structure and power core. 

The system lived on and created a new defence system to battle our human heroes and complete its mission to wipe out what was left of the human race.

That system was an army of bio-humans, made up of different
parts of different people salvaged by the machines in war they were cloned and duplicated in droves to become a super army that would easily infiltrate the humans defences, to walk amongst them before finally killing them.

The only way this could be stopped was the `Cells Interlinked`
program.

5 Warriors chosen to have all human emotion wiped from their brain,. meaning casualties of war from humans and bio-humans combined would not evoke any emotional tendencies making it easier for these warriors to make decisions to save our race, at the detriment to a few.

Those warriors were named The Fi5th, Jane Doe, Bad Legs, Basys & Akuma.

A team trained for this mission since they were found as orphans hidden within a derelict alien craft on the battlefield.

Test 1 was complied with, No emotion detected. Cells Interlinked.
Test 2 was complied with. No emotions detected. Cells Interlinked.
Test 3 was about to begin before we would relay the mission to them.

1/ The Fi5th “MSD”

We start off with something we are not quite accustomed to when it comes to The Fi5th. 

Uplifting melody, but wait... Flip that!

Normal service resumes. What we have here from the drop is the chuggiest of chuggers in all of the planetary solar system.

This one does not let up as it rises and rises with robotic and industrial sounds a plenty flourishing throughout the main aspects of the track, taking you to a crescendo of elderly relative slapping a plenty right until the very end.

2/ Bad Legs- “Pressure”

A huge debt for us this producer who has been taking Europe by storm. The one and only Bad Legs drops us a monumental since to the fray of beats on our Cells Interlinked debut.

We kick start with an almost insect like synth building up as if to crawl across your skin like a symbiote taking over your body, before unleashing full on, unadulterated psycho neuro, audio labels beyond any sound systems control.

3/ Jane Doe- “Pieces”

Cells Interlinked is all about those debuts and another one takes up our 3rd spot in the form of Australian producer Jane Doe, who brings the fire from down under on this one.

Epic intro, haunting chords and big slaps take you into this phenomenal vocal early on which certainly gets you ready for that huge drop.

Amazing, deep and full on tech are ready to leave you speechless and in pieces on this one with a truly robotic first drop that tear the dancefloor into and spin the world on its axis, making down under. Up above.

4/ Basys & Akuma- “Bakuma”

If it's one thing labels love. Its collaborations. a duel of artistic sounds and ideas forcefully blended together as both Cells are interlinked in a futuristic Neuro-soup. 

2 very exciting producers here from the UK finish off the EP in monumental fashion, an epic build of drums, acid and what can only be described as hieroglyphic melodic voices drive us up to the slaughterhouse of a drop and some heavyweight bass driving this track through to yet another epic crescendo of acid lines.

This release we are super proud of and sounds like our end game, yet we are only just getting fucking started.

As we approach the 24th Century, It feels like a Millennia since The “Cells Interlinked” program was used on Earth 304’s bravest hero’s to infiltrate the Raid organism.

Life had become peaceful. The world had overgrown into what it once was in the 20th Century. A beautiful green planet.

The inhabitants of Earth had since created a new line of defence for the planet. No one gets in, No one gets out. But the world lives in peace.

A neuropunk-oscopic collider that spins in the earths orbit projecting a massive 50 million kilowatts of Neuro-Neuron energy into the earth's core to keep it spinning and a sphere of power known only as Profuze around its atmosphere. 

Was there a worry of this technology again becoming intelligent and taking over again? How do we know it hasn't?

Maybe this was the end game of the Raid all along and maybe this earth is now better without its human inhabitants as it is now run by the Half human half droids themselves who know nothing more than to run the Profuze collider for all of time until the end of time and space itself.

1/ Profuse- “Hold Up”

An atmospheric mix of drums and pads echo through the intro of our first track, with a trippy wave sound crashing against itself. with a build up crossing a gated vocal that snaps into the drop.

A shimmering, Cyberfunk-esque rollout entails with a snap to a stripped away drop section before “Hold Up” takes us fully into the next quarter of our track and onwards to a contrasting breakdown that is sure to send chills up and down your spine.

A huge roll up builds into our final drop that glitches in and out with effects and vocal samples layered with more drum patterns and Cyber synths to take us out.

2 Profuze- “Come On” 

We creep into the next track and as before we are treated to some great, trippy synth sounds that sound as creepy as intended.

The first drop is a crescendo of sounds filtered with a massive bass bonanza that drops us into some amazing driving beats and bass. 

Insectuous sounds buzz and fly around our ears through a huge drum roll out for the centre of our track right before we glitch and stutter into our drop which see’s a barrage of drums and Filthy bass sounds shoot out like crazy, smashing expectations and also brain cells.

3/ Profuse- “Don't Stop Me”

And finally we end the release with a massive favourite of the EP from our Peers. 

This one starts by bringing you right into Pole Position and into the driver's seat with sounds that can only be compared to an F1 racing car crossed with a Flying Blade Runner VTO Automobile.

“You Better Don't Stop Me” is shouted out as we reach our drop and more Bass lead synth work that would not sound out of place at SIlverstone in the year 2075

The Augmented beings had failed us. Earth 304 has now become a wasteland and Cemetarium for the dead.

A vast Graveyard filled with bodies collected from the 2  interplanetary wars and shipped in from Supernova Zero by Stonx.

A lone vessel enters the dark and gassy solar system, dropping
in at light speed.

Inside that vessel is Stonx, He has brought The Augmented
bodies, that were left in one piece to the planet.

But these were not to be buried, these were to be experimented on with brand new Neuro chemicals to salvage any artificial intelligence possible.

To Stonx, this was just a pay day, for the destination this was a
deadly game of reliving past mistakes that could destroy what
is left once and for all.

A crazed scientist on the outer hemisphere of the planet. Name unknown, For now.

Would Stonx truly allow what would happen if he knew the cargo being flown in on his ship off world?

Especially after what happened to his crew back in the war.
Time will tell...

1/ Stonx “Cemetarium”

Opening up one of the most exciting Neurofunk EP’s in recent
memory the incomparable and talented Stonx drops this
monster 3 tracker starting with a HUGE intro to kick us off in
the most epic way possible.

Cemetarians anthemic speech starts us off with a whirling build to the first drop as its Pendulum-esque start leads us to heavy percussive sounds and ripping bass synths until “Life &

2/ Stonx “Graveyard Filler”

This one has been getting a good old airing on dubplate of late. A permanent fixture in multiple artists sets so far.

We hear more of those Stonx trademarks rises in this one with some amazing but eerie chord work that chokes us into an absolutely evil drop.

The Chiller is truly here for this one as this is bound to leave
chills up your spine as you try to comprehend what the fuck is
being injected into your brain as the huge swirling sounds
stand present throughout with the odd vocal leading the way
to instigate another switch in the track.

The final drop is a truly magnificent ordeal, You`ll need to sit
down. But we guarantee your feet won't let you.

3/ Stonx- “Supernova Zero”

Some might say here we have saved the best until last. I find that statement probably one of the toughest to argue but also to compare the greatness to the rest of the EP. You won't be going to put this conversation to sleep for a very long time.

“Warning” You have been told multiple times through this monster but did you pay attention?

Probably not that's why you are now falling over in an absolute mess as this beat laden bad boy consumes you and destroys your speakers.

A true Neuro chugger and Grade A Nan slapper.

As the vessel Supernova Zero approached its destination, The crew onboard had all but finished the last rations of food and water. It had been a long trip, and all that was left to do was sit, and wait.

The few out of their cryo sleep pods shared stories. Zaccariello & Figueroa known to the rest as `CPTL PNSHMNT` and of course the chief mate. Qwake.

“We are just a few short months away now” mentioned Zaccariello. “I cannot wait to see how much the world has changed and finally be rid of these bodies” A sudden shake of the cabin and the lights go out of the hull of the ship, then the gully, 
then the rest.

The ship is pitch black.

Qwake lights a flare.

“I best go check on this, probably a back up short circuited”

Realising time was not on his side Qwake goes to check.

“Wait a minute. Aren't the Graveyard pods now open without electricity to keep them closed?”

whispered Zaccariello.

A scream is heard. A crash. Qwake runs back through the door. his face torn. blood seeping from his eyes and what is left of his skull.

“Those are not human bodies in the graves. They are....”

A sudden crash interrupts and sends them hurling to the front of the ship wall. The sound of scuttling surrounds the walls, it gets louder and louder by the second giving the impression they are
surrounded. More sounds emerge from a cockroach like a tap.

Figueroa looks at his wrist screen as it shines “Power is back on, Oh fu...” The screen shows all 1220 pods are now wide open.

Quakes lifeless body stops to convulse. the skin starts to stretch before suddenly everything is silent again.

“Crunch” Zaccariello fires up his weapon. as the Qwakes chest gives way seeping with blood, guts and a black goop.

The main cargo doors start to smash as if hundreds of fists are punching against it.

“Buckle up and get ready Figueroa, this isn't going to be pleasant”

1/ “Renaissance”

We kick start the release with probably the most epic intro of the year. This shit is cinematic and oscar worthy. If Hans Zimmer and Chris Nolan made a documentary about Neurofunk DNB. Well here it is.

Sizzling Bass hits build us to the crescendo of a drop. and a big challenger for Neurofunk track of the year.

2/ “Kraven”

We are not done just yet with the cinematics. This one is a tearer. A great intricate drum sequence layers across the bass and synth work, giving this one another movie-esque feel.

A violent underbelly of sounds throughout this one, Giving a relentless heads down fist in the air expectation for the crowd and a stand out track for Bad Ace on his debut VTO EP

3/ “Reign”

A welcome flashback from Chapter I, Reign was a stand out track for us on our very first VTO Compilation, so much in fact we placed this as a title header for the EP itself. This one blends the Neuro-Cyberpunk theme with an ancient hieroglyphical Ancient story for the release that encapsulates what this music is all about and the direction it should be heading.

4/ “Settlement”

The final settlement. The final track and a close to a most epic
piece of art. A release over 2 years in the making, 

Settlement takes a technoid influence to close out with some great drum work and vocal snippets reminiscent of those classic
Close 2 Death tracks Bad Ace debuted on many moons ago.

With his uptodate twist to bring it screaming into 2024 and beyond.

A place he has owned with No Ghosts or Gimmicks to keep him in his rightful place in 3057. Of course, the talentless pretend heirs to the throne have tried everything to this point, some call it the Break Point, but Cthulhu sees it all.

It’s Not What You Know but what he has lived and breathed is his element of control and righteousness. “They pretend, I rule!”,
The Beast exclaims waking from his slumber as another attack fails on his kingdom. It’s not arrogance to think these simulations of talent are beneath him as they try and try and try again with their cohorts to take over his rule. A smirk grows and spreads across his gnarly features. TRCD will be proud, he has yet again protected the Gods from the ungodly. Stay the course . . . . . . . .

It's become quite a tradition now. TRCD brings in the new year on VTO Records with a nuclear bomb of an EP taking Neurofunk to its limits with a plethora of cyber-esque beats and bass scattered with ferocious ideas bringing a perfect end to what has been a phenomenal year on VTO Records, with our biggest output year to date.

This one is strictly for the purists, A devastatingly eerie intro brings this one in as a solid Neurofunk slammer and an easy favourite to all welcoming the cyberpunk sound of VTO Records.

2/ “Break Point”

Enough is enough! TRCD takes it back to some of his musical roots on this one. Tearing out with an insane metal intro that builds to a neuro slapping crescendo of violent synth work and heavy bass.

3/ “Not What You Know” 

Back to business with the final track of the EP and taking us to a newer and unbridled free of form sound from the man TRCD, With a ton of inspiration and an array of new techniques and skill, virtually unmatched from many producers.

4/ “The Beast” (VIP mix)

What more can be said about this phenomenal redo of a classic. This one has been a DJ tool for a little while now and we are over the moon to finally unleash it to the masses.
