Cubiculo Records teams up again with the french producer B-No. After his first release on vinyl featuring the veteran Trevor Junior with “People Are Changing”now comes the time for his second release on our imprint.

B-No comes again with one of his classic riddim styles, a mixture between the early digital and rub-a-dub.

On Side A comes the french singer Peter Youthman with “Sad Feeling”, a really conscious and powerful tune with focus on sadness and problems regarding homeless people.  Side B features the upcoming american singer Tuli Ranks with his strong rub-a-dub and deejay influences he opposites to “Sad Feeling” and unleashes some love lyrics on “Over Me”.

The artwork tries and conotate the “Sad Feeling” with Night and side B “Over Me” with Day and sun and shows the contrast between both lyrics.

Side A features two tracks, vocal and riddim, where on Side B features an extended version with dub.

Interrupt is relatively new to the scene, only starting producing in 2012, however his take on the digital Reggae style of the late 1980’s is some of the best there is. Now based in London, Interrupt continues to provide his own individual upbeat vibe, which features old-school drum machines, bold basslines and colourful synthesizers. Having worked with Speng Bong, Cubiculo Records and Spanish singers Ponchita Peligros & George Palmer, he already has significant hits under his belt and shows no signs of slowing down.

Featuring tracks from his forthcoming release on Reggae Roast alongside plenty of heavyweight digital bubblers & raw digital pressure this mix is one for the skanking crew!

AFRICA AWAITS - ADUBTA meets RASSI HARDKNOCKS, MICAH SHEMAIAH, EXILE DI BRAVE, JAHKIME & SIMONESE.

Old time people say: "Good things come to those who can wait."
It must be around 2012 when aDUBta (Stepwise Records) created this masterpiece of riddim. In 2013 Natty Vibes Sound took the version to Jamaica to
link up with Rassi Hardknocks and Micah Shemaiah in the original "Dread At The Control" studios, located in Papine, Kingston 6.

After a few seconds of pre-listening both artists decided something very special have to be done on this riddim and so they invinted Sista Simonese, Exile Di Brave and Jahkime to collaborate on the version. The outcoming is a crucial steppas tune, full of bass and melody and a deep message!

Final mix and master was done by Dub Creator from The Netherlands.
AFRICA AWAITS will be released on the 29th of July in a limited, hand-numbered 7" vinyl edition.

Dubatak Records proudly presentes its new production linking Brazil to Jamaica, this time with Jamaican singer Derajah and the single "Black A Black", that names the Riddim Instrumental produced by Brazilian producer Jeff Boto, with vocals, drums and percussion recorded in Kingston, Jamaica, featuring Kush McAnuff on Drums - recorded at Bob Marley’s legendary Tuff Gong Studio - and Derajah on percussion. Brazilian musicians Rica Caveman on bassline and Bruno Dupre on guitars, are joined by French melodicist player Shaky Norman. Horns section feature Tiquinho on Trombone, Reginaldo 16 ton. on Trumpet, and Jean Arnoult on Tenor Sax. In addition to the vocal track, the single also includes a Riddim instrumental version and a Horns mix.
