In celebration of Hip Hop's 50th year, we've teamed up with London based ‘Classic Material’ to present a chronologically themed series of mixtapes celebrating the history of recorded rap music, mixed by Chris Read. This megamix serves as short form companion to our recent 1990 mixtape, this time cramming over 25 classic tracks into a brief three and a half minute run time. Artwork pays homage to iconic late 80s / early 90s imprint Select Records.

It’s been almost a year since Izo FitzRoy burst on to the scene with her debut single and ever since, this charismatic soul songstress has built an ever-growing fan base off the back of tireless touring and a series of strong singles from her debut album ‘Skyline’. ‘Skyline’ is an emotive and empowering gospel-tinged ballad that sees Izo deliver a message of how staying hopeful and focused on the future when going through troubles can help you overcome anything.
