The next chapter on our journey is with the two talented musicians Dario Klein & Marten Sundberg. They teamed up together in Cologne to create the „Mikasi Project“.

The use of digital and classic tools and instruments creates a dark downtempo composition combined with techno influences, which you can expect on this release.

Tight remixes are also included by Kapoor, Mula, Robin Schellenberg and Hesselberg who round up the EP with their individual touch. We are super happy with this slightly darker release and would like to thank the involved artists, as well as Kilian Van de Water for his amazing Artwork again.

Pfandtastisch! Eine riesige Meute Soundpirat*innen hat sich dazu bereit erklärt, feine Musik für den vierten und bisher größten Kopfüber Sampler zu produzieren.

Dieses Mal geht es nicht um die Schiffe der Seawatch, die wir mit dem letzten Solisampler unterstützt haben. Unser eigenes Schiff schwankt, angesichts der aktuellen Lage und steht stillgelegt in seinem Heimathafen. Daher haben wir uns entschlossen, Freund*innen und Crewmitglieder*innen zum Produzieren zu animieren und diese Soundsammlung dann als Soli Sampler für einen humanen Einklaufspreis auf Bandcamp zu stellen. Jegliche Einnahmen werden dazu genutzt, die monatliche Miete für unser Verwirrtshaus zu sichern!

Wir freuen uns auf eure Unterstützung, um unser Projekt in Zeiten wie diesen am Laufen zu halten.
In Zukunft werden alle Sampler wieder auf Spendenbasis sein!

Pawn-tastic! A huge mob of sound pirates* has agreed to produce fine music for the fourth and so far biggest Kopfüber sampler.

This time it's not about the Seawatch ships we supported with the last soli sampler. Our own ship is wavering, given the current situation and stands idle in its home port. Therefore we decided to encourage friends and crew members to produce and then put the collected sounds on Bandcamp as a soli-sampler for a humane price. Any income will be used to secure the monthly rent for our Verwirrtshaus!

We are looking forward to your support to keep our project running in times like these. Future samplers will be free downloads again!

A big kiss to all who helped to write this exquisite piece of music history together with more than 20 artists*...

We Welcome.  appreciate and celebrate Jack Essek @ackssek with his beatiful remix for Ulsen - History.
 
I remember my grandma playing the organ at her church. I remember my uncle playing the electric guitar in his childhood room at my grandma's house. He is showing me different sounds on his new effects board – distortion, delay, reverb. I remember grandma playing birthday songs on her piano downstairs. I remember my aunt, my uncles, and my mum writing and recording a song for grandma's 60th birthday. I remember my mum buying a piano. I remember my brother and I pretending to be a rock band. I remember my parents' record player and listening to 80s hit singles. I remember signals turning to white noise on the car radio as we drive. I remember my cassette recorder, pressing record and fast forward at the same time, and then listening to my own voice sounding way deeper and slower. I remember unintentionally creating a feedback loop with a guitar amplifier for the first time.

"Heritage" was created shortly after visiting grandma when she was playing the organ at her church. My intention was to create a similar feeling as the one I had when I heard her play, which brought back all these memories.

"History" is based on a feedback loop I accidentally recorded with one of my bands years ago.

Looking back I realize that the presence of music has always given me a feeling of belonging, stability, and hope. May you too find comfort in these warm, soothing sounds.

Domenique Dumont is a collaboration between Arturs Liepins, Anete Stuce and an enigmatic artist from France whose existence can neither be confirmed nor denied. Both Anete and Arturs have some presonal works while Arturs is also known as Dunian. Their sound is a great combination of Synth-Pop, Ambient, Abstract, Dub and Downtempo. They have released two great albums for ANTINOTE RECORDS. "Un Jour Avec Yusef" is taken from their first "Comme Ça" that was released back in 2015. A great piece Experimental Synth-Pop transformed by Guaraci into a blisful piece of Electronica/Downtempo beauty!!
