Lesser Of - The Poison Weeps From Your Pores(Rommek Remix)(Revok Records)

The second SPLIT record of the Pi Electronics sub-catalogue kicks off 2022's release schedule, combining music by Ontal, the duo hailing from Serbia and Athens based producer, DΛS.

After 4 years, Ontal return to the label, with ‘Almagest’ Parts I & II on the A side, giving two different interpretations of their trademark industrial textured techno. One with a focus on the bassline and one kick drum oriented version.

The B side of SPLIT#2 hosts Athens techno producer and label resident DΛS, presenting his music for the very first time on vinyl. Driving, broken beat techno with an industrial edge.

The track was recorded with an instrument called 'Daegeum'. which is a traditional Korean instrument.  Comarobot, Unhuman ,Common Poetry & Tunnel light up the track with their remixes. The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere "Bakunin Commando - XI (Nigh/T\mare Remix)". This eerie work of dark electronics comes off the new EP from Bakunin Commando, one of the different facets of Violet Poison. The Veleno Viola label boss heads towards a more experimental direction, shipwrecking to more unknown and remote places, presenting a more conceptual ep with minimalistic proto-industrial/ebm tracks, inspired by the latest DVA Clock, mixing cyberpunk elements with delayed vocals and furious sequences. The 80's punk intuition and its characteristic ramblings undoubtedly give this album a particular character. Also fetishism, sexual exploration and domination are clearly a big inspiration.

Mbodveli is the project of Tbilisi-based DJ and Producer Leonti Kvaraia from Georgia,oriented EBM and Industrial Techno. This album is his first full-length work, inspired by the struggle against injustice and retrograde generation in the post-Soviet space. Artists representing Tbilisi's techno and underground scene: Downwell, Mova and Refresh The System contributed to the creation of the character and concept of the album.The pain recurs and the hideous bust is eaten away by rust, with guerilla outbursts and brutality as repetitive as déjà vu. No one dares to cure this madness. Every war has its heroes: some kiss their faces out of loyalty, some wear the portrait of the leader on their
cheekbones, some sit near your house and kiss you silently, some visit the drug factory to forget their inescapable weakness. Aging embryos that have not seen a ray of light sink to
the bottom of our genetic memory.

The range between the pain and pleasure maxima experienced plays a huge role in how we are made up of beings and what we have painful or pleasurable associations with plays an important role
in shaping any aspect of our individuality.

Although we avoid pain,
if it is the price paid for pleasure and does not exceed the desired result in its strength, we are ready to go through this pain
and sometimes even love it as a presage of pleasure...

Tightening Tension follows suit. It's a mutation of broken techno with electro flavours over a malicious Moog bassline, featuring the vocals of French producer IV Horsemen, whose lyrics conjure a smokey, bone-chilling atmosphere between skittery drums.
